Characteristic features of the design of German houses

In the design of the exterior you can always notice the presence of erkers, balconies, wooden decor, as well as real colors planted in pots or decorative tanks. In such houses, the window blocks have a classic rectangular or arched shape, sometimes with massive frames or with shutters. The base of the house is usually facing a patchworking or natural stone. German houses, most often, are found in an attic or two-storey version with a two-tie roof. The roof is mainly separated by the tiles of red shades.

One of the most popular German style directions is a half-timber. All projects of houses in the German style of the Facrower are erected from wooden beams with slopes at a different angle. The distance between the beams is filled with aerated concrete, glass or white brick with insulation. An interesting feature Fakhverk is panoramic glazingwhich looks very stylish and respectable. Regardless of architectural style, all German houses have a standard planning concept and the following common features:

Dolly floor with a duplex roof;

Rectangular shape;

The presence of a garage or canopy;

Thanks constructive features, in mansard house, disappears space under the roof slots.

Some projects are equipped with a ground floor for household needs or workshop devices.

Everyone knows the practicality of the Germans and their rational approach to all things. This feature It affects the design of private houses. Many projects of German houses, instead of the garage, provide a simple and open area for car parking. Despite the exoticism of German projects, recently, they are increasingly found in country construction.

Typical projects German houses are impeccable in terms of rationality and ergonomics, as it implies the most useful use of residential and utility rooms. In many layouts, the number of walls and partitions is reduced to a minimum. On the first floor, a kitchen and dining room are usually located, which are a central place to collect the whole family. On the second floor there are bedrooms and other premises required for recreation.

Outdoor finish at home in German style

Finishing work outside the house provide for the processing of ready-made wooden or plastered walls. Somes in German are styled with a facade, which is divided into several equal segments using a rigid frame. The produced cells are filled with special materials. In order to protect the foundation of the house from negative impact external factorsThe base of German houses is frozen by high-strength materials such as artificial or natural stone. That original decoration The facade gives the house an attractive and extraordinary appearance.

To finish houses, often used broad boards, which are fixed on plastered walls using self-tapping screws. As a material for the construction of classic German houses, architects most often choose a dark tree, which is processed by paint-and -merous compositions in order to protect wood from moisture. Properly selected paint composition not only protects the tree from adverse factors, but also gives it a noble gloss, emphasizing the structure of the pattern of internal fibers.

New projects of German homes combine ancient German traditions and high-tech materials. Thanks to this, houses in German designs, with gothic architectural elements, are very popular in the field of private housing house-building. The special architecture of German houses does not let them confuse them with houses made in other styles. We have the widespread the German style of the Facrow, characterized by an interesting form of roofing and a predominance in the tree decoration.

House in German style: 2 Bavarian currents and 8 rules of arrangement

The house in German style is a luxurious structure with light walls and brown wooden beams. Beams are located at various angles and create an interesting appearance. Let's look at home in German style closer.

Design at home

The peculiarity of such houses is that they do not have carrier central elements, as the design is built up using sections. And the space between specific sections is filled with certain construction materials:

  • Grindobetonic materials.
  • Brick.
  • A rock. This option is used quite rare, but also used in German style.

A classic option is considered one-story cottage with a pronounced attic, which is cozy located on the border or second floor. Thus, the owners of the house receive a two-story building.

The first floor includes the territorial location of the living room, dining room and kitchen. Quite often is the bathroom for the convenience of residents.

On the second floor, that is, the attic is a bedroom and a children's room. Also, if the space allows, you can locate the bathroom. It is rare to observe the construction and arrangement of three-storey houses.

Many building companies provide services on the construction of turnkey houses. Here you only need to coordinate the project and its cost. Private interest is given to the facade of the house.

On the facade can be placed flower potsHooks for christmas decorations, and even houses for birds. Such elements give additional notes of comfort and friendliness.

Construction features

Projects in German style are performed from the half-timbered frame. The frame is equipped with three elements:

  • Beam. This is a certain size of the bar, made of materials of natural origin: wood.
  • Raspices. it wooden barswhich is important to arrange in accordance with the angles.
  • Rack. This is a wooden support located in a vertical plane.

For the German style, it is necessary to use the disclosure. It is they who give home strength and stability. The disclosures are fastened in accordance with the joints of the existing parts. Such a cunning characterize true German quality.

Types of German houses: 2 styles

The German style of houses can be embodied in reality two main building abilities:

Photo Description

Facrifical houses
A distinctive feature is a vertical frame. It is combined with transverse disclosures and beams. Combining is made diagonally.
Beams must be painted in a contrast color relative to the color of the walls. Thus, it turns out a magnificent entourage and German expressiveness.
Components in such houses speak well natural stones and stucco.

Gothic houses
Such houses have natural uncommon. Quite often, they are compared with the Gothic locks. The construction of the roof, and the elongated windows allow you to make at home at times more attractive and exquisite.

Decoration Materials

Exterior decoration is performed on the basis of the Bavarian style. Where clay walls and wooden bars are observed.

Some projects are created with the use of decorative stone, brick or plastic panels.

Exterior and interior: 8 rules of arrangement

With your own hands, you can easily create unique German interiors, moderately restrained and sophisticated. It is important to know the basic rules:

Photo Description

Rule 1. Colors and shades

German style widely uses light shades and pastel colors. All natural materials are endowed with the same shades:

  • clay,
  • a rock,
  • wood.

The decoration of the walls should be the most natural, neutral and unobtrusive. Can be actively used as decor elements decorative stones, cobblestones, slightly covered with plaster.

The internal decor allows the use of beams from wood, equipped on walls and ceiling.

Rule 2. Flooring

Actually use a tree as an outdoor coating. It may be laminate of any shades and combinations, as well as parquet.

For sleeping, children's and living rooms, you can buy carpeted floors with a low vole. The color scheme is selected according to a single stylist line.

As a rule, the flooring is chosen darker than the walls of the color. In German style, brown, white and beige gammas are actively used.

Rule 3. Window frames and doors

Rama is also better to choose from natural materials. But plastic is allowed under the tree.

It is good for the imitation of the first, it allows you to even glazing the whole building entirely.

German style is quite demanding to the subtleties of the design of window frames and entrance doors. It is important that the front door has highlighted on the background of the house.

Rule 4. Mansarda

Homes with the attic always look much more attractive and cozy. On the attic you can create a summer room, a floral garden and much more.

As a upholstery, animal skins or imitation of fur will fit.

Beds, tables, chairs, cabinets must be made of wood.

Rule 6. Accessories

You can apply some elements of gothic in the interior. For example, a kitchen plate is stylized under the gothic furnace arch. Places to place clay pots.

German style necessarily contains a variety of living colors, respectively, placed in clay pots.

Rule 7. Fireplace

The highlight of any interior is a fireplace, but the German style cannot be without it completed.

If it is not possible to create real fireplace With a derived tube, it can be easily replaced with electric. In stores you can find a large range of stylized fireplaces.

Facing the fireplace should be genuine, as a rule, it is a stone (brick or clay is rarely used).

Rule 8. Lighting

The correct illumination option will be lamps, sconce and ceiling lamps. It is better if natural elements will be in the elements of the decor of the lamps.

The more lighting inside the space, the more correct.

Harmoniously in this style, large-scale chandeliers are stylized under the candles.

Than our homes are different
From the rest?

  • Your home will be warm

    We guarantee that the house built on our project will be warm. Our homes fully correspond to SNiP. Wrong erkers, balconies, unnecessary liar in the walls and some other elements can also lead to heat leakage. But the most important cause of heat loss is purging the walls due to the incorrect profile of the longitudinal groove on the log or bar or due to non-professional assembly. We follow, so that our homes are warm.

  • We make changes to the project for free

    Most customers are asked to make their changes to the project: add or remove the boiler room, terrace, "second light", an additional bedroom, windows, enlarge or reduce the premises. We are pleased to implement the wishes of customers in the project. But we can also refuse the changes if they are not consistent with the existing ones or the rules of wooden house-building or may lead to the rise in the cost of construction. All changes in the project we introduce free.

  • You save on construction up to 200,000 rubles.

    With our project you are guaranteed to save at home - up to 200,000 rubles when erecting a 200 meter house.

  • The placement of the engineering networks is already thoughtful

    In our projects, the placement of engineering networks is thought out. If this is not done in advance, then you will have to use non-standard sizes, which is usually worth more. Or it will be necessary to install additional boxes in the visible place and their subsequent decoration.

  • Optimal placement of furniture

    Our projects laid a competent furniture alignment. This eliminates errors when planning the size of the premises, the location of the window and door openings. If this is not done when designing, then, for example, due to improper placement of the door or window, you do not have enough 10-30 centimeters for the location of plumbing, cabinets or kitchen boxes.

  • We are building at home

    We not only create projects, but also build at home. Each project, submitted on our website, was repeatedly built by us. Our architects are visited by houses built and see "not on paper" the result of their creativity. We also receive feedback from the owners of houses built according to our projects, we take into account their wishes and make changes to typical projects. Thus, it is safe to say that our projects are tested by time and repeated construction, they are comfortable for living and economical

  • Optimal cutting 6 meter log

    6 meter logs are used for the production of a log. The logs are cut to the elements. With a depreciation, a waste remains, which can reach up to 20% of the total wood. We design the house and the size of the premises in such a way that the cutting 6-meter log was optimal, and the departure sought to zero. This allows you to significantly reduce the cost of a log. Therefore, the exact dimensions of the premises are very important, and the resizing is even 20 cm can lead to large waste, and, therefore, the appreciation.

From a long time, German architecture was famous for its beauty and practicality. As in other countries, it passed the long way from the Romanesque and Gothic style to High-Tek, from castles and half-timbered buildings to the ultra-modern buildings. Due to its thoroughness and economy, the German architecture has become an impersonation of high quality and rationality. Some elements of vintage houses - for example, Fakhverk - still use in the construction of modern buildings. And university students study the works of the famous German designer Ernst Neuryfe and follow in their works found by the standards and laws.

House with imitation Facrow on the facade

The XX century became a turning point in the history of Germany as a whole, and, in particular, in design and architecture, marking a consistent care from the classics. With the advent of the school Bauhaus in the 1920s, modernism gradually suppressed the remaining architectural styles. Architects abandoned the ornament on the facades, simplified the form of buildings, subjugate its function. These principles were reflected in the post-war architecture, when the designers intentionally left any historical analogies and preferred to create "from pure sheet". The first place has enjoyed the practicality of the building and its economy - both during construction and operation. Architects are actively learning new materials and technologies to increase energy efficiency and easily manage home. In recent decades, the projects of "smart" homes are increasingly developed using automation and computer equipment.

In the architecture of a private house, traditional and modern elements were combined: simple form Buildings I. gable roof Presented in a new reading, and a long-known zinc roofing coating has spread to the entire surface of the house. Klaus Schlossen Architekten.

1. Dimensional features of the German house

Private architecture in Germany is quite diverse. As in Russia, here you can meet both ultramodern buildings and quite traditional buildings. In addition, many cities with old houses have been preserved throughout the country, which were reconstructed in connection with the new realities of life. If we talk about newly under construction buildings, most of them are erected by typical projects.

Many residents of Germany live in individual cottages in small towns, and they go to the nearest metropolis. There are both single-family houses (EINFAMILIENHAUS) and duples (Zweifamilienhaus). Having studied the German catalogs of private residential buildings for the middle class, we can mark general principles Designing modern suburban housing in Germany. Practicality, efficiency, rationality - these features, distinguishing the entire German architecture as a whole, are at the heart of each private project. This approach is manifested both in the planning and facade solutions.

The structure of the German house is simple and laconic. No frills, no impractical and economically unjustified jewelry and architectural elements:

The shape of houses is close to the square, additional volumes often attach to it. It can be an entrance group, forming a balcony on the second floor, or a garage attached to the house or connected to it covered terrace;

The building consists of two floors, or one floor with an attic;

The roof is most often a double (sometimes four-tie);

There are no turrets in the architecture of the house, but there are erkers and balconies.

The building plan forms a rectangle. It complements volume input groupserving a balcony on the second floor. Kampa.

Stylistics modern house Largely relies on the principles inherent in functionalism and minimalism. In contrast to the traditional German half-timbered architecture, functionalism implies a complete absence of hard canons and the application of new opportunities for modern building materials. The focus is drawn to the function of a particular element. The form is determined by the function, and the facade of the form.

Such principles are declared in minimalism. Buildings in this style, as a rule, are built by individual projectsand differ greater expression. Easy execution, lack of decor and decorations, natural materials in the finish, single color gamut, simple geometric shapes - such are distinctive signs of style. Special attention is paid to the effects associated with natural lighting. Therefore, cottages in this style are inherent in the availability of windows on the entire wall and flat roofs with glass fragments.

All this is reflected in the facade solutions of German houses, among which you can select common features:

- Balconies, terraces, canopies, big roofs that provide a variety facade solutionsmaking the structure of individuality;

An additional volume of the loggia gives expressiveness to a simple building. Juretzka Architekten.

- large squares glazing, corner and panoramic windows, double glazing;

A large area of \u200b\u200bglazing makes a typical rural house with a bright representative of modern private architecture. Landau + Kindelbacher.

Lack of decor on the facade;

The use of large undeclared planes from homogeneous material or one color;

Light texture stucco and black wooden plankin shape expressive contrast. Drevohaus.

Volume and planning solutions correspond to the structure of the house and are built under the general principles:

The living room and dining room, as a rule, are combined into a single space;

The kitchen is most often not isolated with solid partitions, and separated from the total space by element of furniture (bar counter, rack) or decorative common. The absence of partitions and corridors, combining several functional zones in one space creates a feeling of space, saves a useful area. As a result, the prerequisites for interesting interior solutions arise;

Single space kitchen living room in the interior. Landau + Kindelbacher.

The total area of \u200b\u200bthe three main functional zones of the main premises (living room + dining room + kitchen) is approximately 40-70 m2;

The entrance unit is separated by partitions (entrance hall, toilet, wardrobe, staircase);

Floor plan in a typical house. Kampa.

Apparent dryness rectangular spaces Often enriched with rectangular erkers - both on one floor and double;

On the second floor there are traditionally private apartments (bedrooms, office, bathroom, wardrobe);

All rooms are highlighted by partitions, most often broken shape, for functional arrangement of furniture, equipment and more effective use space;

In the layout of the building you can find all the characteristic features of the German house. Most of the first floor occupies the combined space of the kitchen, dining room and living room. The second floor leads a single-hour staircase. The complex shape of the bedroom and the bathroom allows you to divide the rooms on the functional zones. Drevohaus.

To move between floors, a single-hour staircase is often used, and on the second floor it is arranged a spacious illuminated staircase hall.

2. Construction of a house for the German project

German practicality and rationality often attracts future homeowners from Russia. Simple and restrained, and at the same time very functional homes in German style are very popular. How promising foreign projects and how they are coming out on Russian soil, clearly demonstrates the history of the construction of the "German" house by the company "ABC of construction".

House project

The project of the cottage with a total area of \u200b\u200b219 m2, created by the German architectural and construction bureau, was interested in our potential customer. In 2009, he made photos of the exterior and interior of the exhibition sample in Germany and appealed to the "ABC of construction" with a request to develop AR (architectural section) and the Kyrgyz Republic (constructive section) and further build a house for this project.

After examining the photographic materials, our specialists analyzed the architectural and volume-planning solutions of the cottage that the customer liked so much. Rectangular in the plan Cottage crowns traditional bartal hip roof. Symmetric facades are attracted by their purity and clarity. Lined french windows The first and second floors give the ease of end facades with Valm frontons. On the second floor of the window decorated with a metal balcony fence.

Exhibition sample of the German house. Corner rusts in the color of white front boards, windows and doors frameds make facades festive and elegant.

The "business card" of the project is two symmetrically located volumes that are adjacent to the rear facade and together create a P-shaped composition. This glazed room of the winter garden, combined with the living room, and the covered terrace, the exit to which is designed from the dining room. Its proportions and shape of the roof of the extension are repeated canopy over the porch of the main entrance and form a small inner courtyard - isolated cozy space For family holidays in the open sky.

A distinctive feature of the planning solution of the cottage is a light translucent staircase located in the center of the house. This planning "raisin" and attracted the attention of the customer.

As the main composite dominant, the staircase conditionally builds the boundaries of the main functional zones: hall, kitchen, dining room, living room, while providing the entire space. Thanks to light and openwork designs and a wide staircase hatch, the lines of the second floor is clearly visible and becomes part of the total, visually expanding it.

Openwork staircase, located in the center of the building, provides through the view of the entire parade space.

According to the idea of \u200b\u200bthe designers, the staircase does not adjoin the supporting structures and partitions of the building. As a sculpture, it can be free from all sides. Thus, the functional object turned into a kind of kernel of the house, around which the vital processes are rotated in the literal and figurative sense.

Easy, airiness and additional volume of two window openings cut into the roof in a truncated front of the roof. These windows also illuminate the ladder hall of the second floor. This item makes the interior more diverse, and the facade of the building is rich and interesting.

The second floor is attic, but due to the sufficient height of the walls to the rope slope - the space is cozy and functionally. In residential premises and bathrooms installed inclined mansard windowswhich not only satisfy the space by daylight, but also the interior is noticeably revived.

Mansard windows make the space of the second floor light and cozy.

Construction history

For various reasons, the "German" project was not implemented. But the photos of the cottage attracted another customer. These design solutions almost fully responded to its requirements and wishes for the organization of the inner space, the composition of the premises and the architecture of the building.

However, the customer wished to make some changes in the design and layout of the building to adapt the project to its needs, Russian climatic conditions and the existing market for building materials. The construction process was preceded by the design stage, as a result of which the house has undergone a number of changes.

The cold climate demanded a warm tambura device, which turned the covered terrace of the main entrance. For the same reason, they abandoned the stained glass glazing of the winter garden, replacing it on the walls with a large window opening. To increase the living space, it was necessary to abandon the second light in the living room. In his place, the Cabinet appeared in the attic. For better lighting, five windows combined into a solid belt block.

The belt windows of the attic provide a room good insolation.

The terrace adjacent to the dining room also became warm. In this room, there was a home cinema. At the request of the Customer, on the site of the first floor room, our specialists launched a rest room with a steam room, shower and a bathroom. A small redevelopment touched on the technical premises.

Standard windows with the height of the windowsill 0.9 m instead of French - from the floor to the ceiling - helped improve the heat engineering at home, which is important in winter. On the second floor, the height of the windows remained the same, but there was a balcony with a wooden fence and exit from two rooms. On the facade of the house there was a ventilated block, lined with a stone - it passes in the outer wall of the technical room.

The end facade of the house has undergone a change: the height of the windows has decreased on the first floor, and the balcony appeared on the second.

From economic considerations and aesthetic preferences of the Customer, our architects have shifted decorative accents in the exterior of the house. From snow-white rust and platbands, they refused, and an expensive dark face brick of outer walls was replaced by brick of light tone. At the same time to preserve contrast window Rama.Lob's boards and waterproofs were performed in a dark range. For more reliable operation of the roof with a large number of funds and ribs, it was decided to replace the metal tile on the bituminous tile.

Despite all these changes, our designers retained the artistic image of the cottage, a surround-planning structure and, of course, the main feature of the indoor space is a sculptural staircase in the very center of the house. The construction of a building for this project was carried out by our campaign in 2010.

The end facade of the house has undergone a change: the height of the windows has decreased on the first floor, and the balcony appeared on the second.

Currently, we actively cooperate with the German architectural and construction bureau Anke Disterheft.
