Do-it-yourself buleryan oven. Buleryan furnace device, principle of operation, installation

Tomato blanks for the winter

The buleryan stove (bullerjan, buller, buller, breneran) was invented not by ordinary Canadian guys, as they say in some places, but by quite competent heating specialists. The rest of the Buller's story is true: it was really invented in Canada for the needs of lumberjacks and more on a whim, without further ado. It turned out well, it looks impressive, and there are more than enough people who want to make a buller on their own. This article has been written about some of the obstacles and subtleties that may be encountered along the way.

A bit of history

The forest in Canada is felled not in blocks, but selectively, and teams of lumberjacks lead a nomadic lifestyle. Felling is carried out more in the cold season, when the vegetation does not vegetate, life in the forest dies down and the damage to forest biocenoses from felling is minimal.

The climate in the Canadian taiga is even harsher than the Siberian one, and even with a 4-hour shift, workers froze into icicles. There is zero comfort and civilization in the wilderness in general. Therefore, the lumberjacks needed something that they could carry with them without cluttering up the body, and bring them into the living wagon with their hands. And housing for 20-30 cubic meters, this oven had to warm up in a maximum of 20 minutes. Waste fuel: branches, wood chips. The firebox is large so that you can stick in there pieces of thick, gnarled ridges. Operating time from one fuel tab is at least 8 hours. Where to get up there at night and heat, when during the day they broke down to pain in the bones.

The heat output must be regulated depending on the weather and season. The adjustment should be simple so that it can be made by an untrained person or after a one-time introductory briefing.

At the same time, the stove had to be inexpensive and quite technologically advanced. Electronics requiring power supply, and indeed automation in general, was excluded: the slightest breakdown in the taiga could cost the life of an entire brigade. The use of expensive special alloys requiring special equipment was also excluded: Buleryan had to be available for manufacturing in any mechanical repair shop.

Additional requirements were put forward for operational safety. Firstly, the formation of fumes must be excluded in any mode of the furnace and any positions of the regulatory bodies. Secondly, the temperature of the furnace body should not exceed 60-70 degrees, so that, accidentally bumping into it from sleepiness and "from a hangover," you do not burn yourself to the point of incapacity for work. They say Canadian lumberjacks know how to drive moonshine from pine cones... It is called sterno.

Buller device

As a basis, Canadian engineers took the well-known and well-proven scheme of a slow-burning steel convection-tube air boiler; in common parlance - a heater-heater. This is how a structure appeared, the diagram of which is shown in Fig. The wide sealed door of the firebox is equipped with a blower in the form of a branch pipe with a rotary damper - a throttle. The throttle regulates the power of the oven. Sometimes its handle is equipped with a scale, graduated in degrees of outside temperature, and a movable stop-limiter. At the same time, the throttle can be shut off tightly if the stove needs to be extinguished or to stop the draft so that the room does not get cold.

This is followed by an extensive firebox with curved walls. The banks of the heat exchanger pipes are recessed in them by 2/3 of the diameter. In these 2/3, the first highlight of the Buller. With this ratio, 70% of the heat released in the furnace in the smoldering mode is provided to the air in the pipes. Another 10% spreads over the metal welded body of the furnace and heat the air in addition to them. At a room temperature of 20-25 degrees and a thermal power of 10-20 kW, this requires a temperature gradient of 40-45 degrees, i.e. the furnace body will be heated to 60-65 degrees. 5 degrees will give some safety margin.

At 1/4 of the height of the furnace from the bottom, there is a horizontal grate underneath made of thick, at least 4 mm, steel, or a grate made of cast iron grates. Above, also by 1/4 of the height of the furnace, but already from the top, an incomplete horizontal partition is welded into the furnace, not reaching its front wall by 1 / 4-1 / 5 of the length of the furnace. Holes are made in the partition, precisely calibrated in terms of diameter, location and total area (approximately 7% of the hearth area).

Air intake for afterburning is carried out from the combustion chamber. Separate vents for secondary air are not provided. The fraction of air taken from the combustion chamber by the afterburner automatically changes depending on the properties of the fuel and the combustion mode. This is the second difference between the buller and classic designs with combined or separate air flows.

The space fenced off by the upper partition forms the afterburner during operation in the smoldering mode. The flue gases from the afterburner go to the "hog" or "chushka" - the horizontal part of the chimney 0.8-1 m long. The hog is obligatory for Buleryan, it somewhat slows down the afterburning of the exhaust gases. Why it is so necessary will be discussed below.

Immediately after turning the chimney up, a gate (smoke choke) is installed in it, which switches the combustion mode. Because the heat capacity of the buller's body, in contrast, is small and has almost no effect on heat transfer to the room; a view that completely blocks the chimney (and creates a risk of burnout in case of careless or unskilled use) is not provided.

The diameter of the chimney is equal to or 10-20% larger than that of the blower pipe, and a quarter is cut out in the damper damper (see Fig.) Therefore, no matter how you twist the choke with the damper, the draft will not stop and the waste, even if it is formed, will not enter the room will go, and will fly into the pipe. With the specified ratio of the diameters of the blower to the chimney and 25% of the area of the idle hole in the gate, the buller is safe, even if you forget to close the firebox door. True, in this case, almost all the heat will fly out.

Above the gate is the third essential element buller - economizer. In general, an economizer is a device that heats up the working fluid entering the boiler with the residual heat of flue gases - water, air. But in this case, the role of the economizer is different.

Buller's economizer is a vertical chimney section 1.5-3 m long, well insulated by heat: 40-50 mm of asbestos or basalt cardboard, or 30-40 mm of basalt wool, or 10-15 mm of expanded vermiculite. In the economizer, the flue gases finally burn out: the core of the gas jet in the hog does not have time to cool down too much, the IR reflected from the walls of the economizer increases the concentration of thermal energy in the jet, and the gas flares up. Firefighters know this effect as flame jump.

The gas that flared up in the economizer tends to expand, but in a limited volume it has nowhere to go. A gas lock is formed, which is also well known to builders and owners of illiterately designed stoves. The combustion in the firebox subsides, the cork cools down, slips through, the combustion intensifies again - Buleryan, puffing more often, sometimes less often, automatically adjusts to the quality of the fuel and the position of the air throttle.

They say that this idea dawned on one of the developers, looking at a colleague, puffing hard on his pipe. The design team tried to solve the problem of the stability of the combustion mode at low temperatures in the furnace. It was not possible to keep on the brink of decay and flame until the self-oscillating combustion mode was introduced. So a canoe, if rowed alternately with one oar, then from one side, then from the other side, moves in a straight line. The overall buller efficiency of 80% is achieved only with an economizer. Without it - on the strength of 60% with something.

Sometimes, even often, due to some features of the buller (which will be discussed later), it is operated without an economizer, increasing combustion and putting up with a reduced, but still good efficiency. But then a good branded oven only lasts 2-3 years. Why? This will also be discussed further in the course of the presentation.

About pipe batteries

With a thermal power of up to 20-25 kW, pipes in batteries are made in the form of technologically simple semicircles, as on the left in Fig. In this case, the diameter of the pipes is 60-100 mm, and their number is 3-4 per battery.

With a higher thermal power, it is impossible to proportionally increase the diameter of the pipes; due to the low thermal conductivity of the air, the efficiency will drop. It is necessary to increase the "pipeness" of the batteries. But with batteries of 6 or more pipes, the efficiency also drops, here the square-cube law is already affecting when applied to fuel filling.

Up to a power of 100-120 kW, designers find their way out by making pipes bent in the form of sinusoidal arcs and slightly inclined with the top of the arc downward. In this case, the furnace in the section acquires a drop-shaped or ovoid section, as on the right in Fig. With even more power, a computer simulation of a buleryan with optimization is required, and a positive result of a long, complex and expensive work is not guaranteed.

How buleryan is heated

At first, when it is necessary to quickly warm up the room, dry and quickly burning fuel is put into the firebox, even paper or cardboard. Since the time when pellets appeared on sale, and Canadians, going on their next logging voyage, take 2-3 bags with them; enough for the season.

The choke and gate are fully opened, the fuel is ignited, the firebox door is closed. The combustion is fiery, with a "bourgeois" efficiency of 20-40% (and not 5-7%, as advertisers of Buleryanov write for comparison). At the same time, 4-6 cubic meters of air per minute, heated to 130-140 degrees, is blown out of 4 tube batteries, and the room quickly warms up.

The accelerating fuel filling is given such that it burns out to coals 3-4 minutes before the end of warming up, some experience is needed here. If heat-resistant glass is built into the buller's door, the combustion is monitored through it. But it is possible, only inconveniently, to do this by simply peeping into the blower.

As soon as it burns down to the coals, they put large blocks of wood on them. The bigger the better. You can have one, if only he got into the firebox. You can lay peat briquettes or the same pellets, they are universal fuel. The blower throttle is now closed to the desired position, or all the way to the movable power scale limiter. The gate is closed all the way, i.e. by 3/4.

In this case, Buller goes into a smoldering mode with partial pyrolysis and gasification. The air from the batteries comes out with a temperature of 60-70 degrees, and the furnace body cools down to 50-55. Even falling down at night on a buller in Adam's suit, you will swear, but you will not burn yourself.

To call a buller a furnace or a gasifier, as is often done, is wrong. The ratio of heat transferred to the air directly from the smoldering mass of fuel and the afterburned pyrolysis gases is continuously changing during the combustion of one bookmark with the same position of the throttle and gate.

Features of the firebox

The first is that the thermal conductivity of air is small even in comparison with its, also small, heat capacity. Therefore, it makes no sense to "heat up" the buller: the air will not have time to accept the excess heat, and it will have no choice but to fly into the chimney.

The optimum temperature in the smoldering mass of the buller is 550-650 degrees. This ensures a fairly high durability of the furnace, welded from conventional structural steel with a thickness of 4-10 mm, depending on the power. But pyrolysis at this temperature is weak and incomplete, which leads to some unnecessary and unpleasant effects. We'll talk about them in more detail below.

If the temperature in the furnace is raised to 800 degrees and higher, then not only the efficiency will fall. And the steel of the body will not only burn out, but also undergo thermochemical corrosion due to the presence of hydrocarbon radicals and nitrogen oxides in the flue gases. You can avoid their formation by supplying air separately to the firebox and the afterburner, but this will no longer be a buller, but another furnace. Difficult to operate and can be dangerous.

That is why the manufacturers of buleryans categorically prohibit burning them with coal and coke. Carbon does not burn if it cools below 800-900 degrees. And to give more air so that it does not go out - not only the efficiency will drop, but also an expensive special steel stove will burn out to holes in a season or two. The claim will not be accepted, the case is not guaranteed.

Should I do it myself?

Before moving on to the features of the installation and operation of buleryans, their improvements and varieties, you need to dwell on the question: is it worth making a buller with your own hands? The reason is, first of all, the selling price of ready-made factory. Bullers are very technologically advanced: the zero cycle of their production is reduced to the manufacture of a couple of bending templates and welding jigs. The material of the product is even scrap metal.

A very good buleryan for 10-15 kW can be purchased for $ 200-250. At the same time, equipment common for a camping repair shop is not kept at home, in a garage or at a summer cottage, if only due to the lack of suitable areas. And ordering individually bent rather large parts made of thick metal will cost much more.

Perhaps the only exception is if a home-made master works at a provincial provincial factory, where most of the technological equipment is still idle. And the leadership "in the Soviet way" will allow him to free time use the machine park, and even allow you to rummage in the dump, pick up blanks. Although at the current scrap prices, this is unlikely.

In such a case, we will give advice: do not be tempted for narrow batteries water pipes... The minimum diameter of the air ducts is 60 mm; it is determined by the ratio of heat capacity and viscosity of air. Buller with a "palisade" is unlikely to be more economical than any other slow-burning furnace, but making it more difficult. A drawing of an unsuccessful design in this respect is shown in Fig. below, and an example of a correctly executed homemade buller is in Fig. right at the beginning of the section.

Ready-to-buy

The installation of a buller in a heated room also has some features. Look at fig. On the left - the option is not entirely successful. And not only because it is necessary to hammer concrete floors, which requires a project with permission, the structures are supporting.

Firstly, for the installation of a chimney passing through the attic and the roof, you will need to collect a lot of papers in order to obtain permission from the firefighters. And then also to fulfill all fire safety requirements, which will be difficult and expensive.

Secondly, the condensate (sludge condensate) settling from the flue gases of the Buller has amazing physicochemical properties. A special section will be devoted to them, but for now we note the following: although there are no separate sanitary rules for this substance, it is better for yourself to stay away from it. And in this case, the sludge condensate remains in the room.

The option on the right is good already because you need to drill not concrete, but brick wall... She, of course, is also load-bearing, but less overlapping is loaded. On an opening in it up to 150 mm in diameter, the regulatory authorities close their eyes. And the standard diameter of the buller chimney is 100 mm. And getting a fire permit for an outdoor chimney is much easier. And the sludge condensate will be outside.

In either case, the foundation for Buleryan is not needed, a fireproof stand is enough. Other general terms and Conditions the following:

  • Distance from an ordinary wall is at least 1000 mm.
  • If the wall is covered with fire-resistant plaster (for example, vermiculite) with a layer of at least 25 mm, you can move 800 mm from the buller to it.
  • Within a radius of 1200 mm from the center of the firebox door there is a fire-resistant flooring, as for other stoves: steel from 1.5 mm on an asbestos bed.
  • The stand goes beyond the oven contour - at least 300 mm in all directions.
  • If the buller is certified by the fire brigade for operation without a stand, is equipped with standard non-removable fireproof legs and a pocket - catcher in front of the ash pan door, you can put it without a stand directly on the floor, except for a wooden or plywood board. On laminate or marmoleum you can.

Water Bullers

Couldn't such a really good stove be adapted for hot water heating? It is possible, and water buleryans are produced by industry. But looking at this (see Fig.), One involuntarily recalls the statement of an outstanding Soviet submarine builder about the project of a gigantic nuclear submarine missile carrier of the Akula type, also known as the Typhoon: “This is a vivid example of the victory of technology over common sense”.

The authors of "vodobullers" forget, or ignore, based on market requirements, that Buleryan was originally created as an air oven. And the heat capacity of water is 800 times that of air. In order for the exhaust gases to transfer their heat to her, they need to be entangled in the labyrinth of the hot water register. And in Buleryan, with its side heating of the heat exchanger, this is basically impossible, otherwise you will have to create a completely different furnace.

The only way to heat water for heating with a buller is to intensify combustion in the furnace. But at the same time, as discussed above, the efficiency will inevitably fall.

However, it is very simple to adapt any buleryan for hot water supply. Let's say we have 2 batteries with 4 pipes each, and the whole stove is 10 kW. As can be seen in the thermal image (see the figure on the left below), and with an intense fire for rapid heating, the air temperature in the nozzles of the batteries is not higher than 160 degrees.

Now we will put on two pipes the most ordinary metal corrugations and connect them to the pipes passing through the hot water boiler. Horizontally, vertically - all the same. 2.5 kW will go into the water. If a tank for 80-100 liters is insulated with EPS 40-50 mm thick, then in half an hour the water in it will heat up to 60-70 degrees, and then this temperature will be maintained. For comparison: heating elements for 3.5-5 kW are installed in household 100-liter electric boilers.

Such a system is also good in that, without any automation, boiling of water is absolutely excluded. Let's recall a school physics problem for especially (without quotes) gifted and savvy: how to heat water exactly to 100 degrees, without letting it boil?

The answer is: take a saucepan, put wooden blocks in it for thermal insulation. Put another pot on them, smaller. Pour water into both pots, put on fire. The water in the outer pan will boil, but its temperature will not rise above 100 degrees. the heat of the fire will be used to transfer the latent heat of water evaporation to the water.

The water in the inner pot will also heat up to 100 degrees, but there will be no temperature difference between it and the outer one, and the heat required to evaporate the water cannot be transferred to the inner pot. The water in it will heat up exactly to 100 degrees without any signs of boiling.

With regard to the case with the "water cooler" - in the air with a temperature of 140 degrees there is no heat reserve that ensures the boiling of water. When its temperature approaches 100 degrees, the air in the heat exchanger will rapidly cool down, the temperature gradient will approach 0, and the water will never boil.

About heating a private house

Well, the reader may say, but you need to be warmed up! Yes, but stove heating is used mainly in private households, and there hot water is a pure prejudice, a stereotype of "centralized" thinking. Indeed, for the efficiency of the central CHPP, the heat capacity of the heat carrier is of paramount importance, otherwise it will cool down until it reaches the subscribers.

A ? What, to pull the highway from the kitchen or furnace around the entire site to the living room / bedroom? Isn't it easier to disperse the warm air through the rooms, which the buller gives, as they say, from the top? Judge for yourself:

  1. Air ducts can be made with a simple tool from cheap materials: tin, drywall, plywood, just cardboard, and pipes are expensive, they need to be bent, boiled, soldered.
  2. No registers, expansion tank, fittings, automation are needed.
  3. You can forget about fistulas and leaks once and for all.
  4. Air ducts with fans and shutters do not require a project or a permit. It is enough to calculate for yourself which room to bring which section.
  5. Heat transfer to the walls (and this is up to 15% of heat loss on water) is zero; here, poor thermal conductivity of air plays into our hands.
  6. Putting adjustable blinds at the exits - here's an easy operational temperature control in the rooms. It is better not to compare with the setting of hot water heating.
  7. If you place the exit blinds at the walls farthest from the window above the floor, then the air, until it gets to where it can heat the street, will give its warmth to the room. And everyone knows how the batteries in the windowsill niches increase the entropy of the Universe.
  8. The same technique will give a warm floor without any additional costs and work.
  9. The walls are smooth, no deformities in sight - design the interior as you like.

Bullers without pipes

Professor Innokenty Nikolaevich Butakov (not to be confused with Alexander Vladimirovich Butakov, also a professor, but a lawyer) in the 1920s actually invented buleryan, attaching an afterburner to the top with a heat shield. Nowadays, furnaces such as "Butakov", "Professor Butakov", "Student" in a modern design (see Fig.) Successfully compete with Buleryan in the domestic market. Their specifications and the principle of operation is similar, like identical twins, but it is much easier to make Butakov himself, as can be seen from the picture.

Computer buleryan

The first buller was calculated almost on a slide rule. Oddly enough, they were the first to figure out how to simulate it on a computer and optimize it in Novosibirsk, at Termofor. Now their Fire-Battery ovens of various sizes are one of the hits on the market. And it is not surprising: having calculated all the processes properly, it was possible to place a hot water circuit for hot water supply and a hob with a hob in the same buller, see fig.

Oven "Fire battery"

The Fire-Battery ovens immediately drew a salvo of criticism. But here one recalls the complaints of the classics of literature: "All the same minor attacks on the font, vignettes, typos ..."

"It does not correspond to my idea of stoves ..." Sorry, sir, there is no dispute about tastes. "Harmful to health". By whom, when and where is it proven or at least noticed? "Not a stove, but some kind of torpedo boat." Sir, you flatter the developers. The best minds of heating engineers worked on boilers for destroyers and cruisers. 70,000 kW in a volume of 8 cu. m. with an efficiency of 97% - if this is not perfection, then what is perfection in general?

What's bad about him?

Yes, there are no visible flaws in Bullers. They are called that: a stove without flaws. But there is one hidden one, and a serious one.

Any organic fuel burns, releasing the so-called. reaction water. It is a complete analogue of metabolic water formed in living organisms: it is released during the breakdown of organic molecules. Due to the low temperature in the furnace, there is more reaction water in the buleryan exhaust than in other slow-burning furnaces; in them, this water is partially involved in pyrolysis.

The second point is the mineral components of wood. Buller sellers present it as a virtue that the firewood in the buller burns without leaving even ash. But there is ash in the tree initially, and in bullers, ash particles fly out into the chimney.

The third is hydrocarbon radicals. These are chemically very active residues of organic molecules not completely decomposed. All this taken together reduces the efficiency of the buller by only 5-7% and, in terms of volume, makes up the same share of its exhaust. But for household buleryans, these percentages turn out to be truly deadly.

Let's remember Karnot's formula. If we take a pyrolysis boiler with 1500 degrees in the combustion chamber and 300 in the exhaust, then it will show an efficiency of 80%. For Buleryan, the same 80% is obtained at 600 and 120, respectively.

The reaction water from the pyrolysis boiler does not have time to condense in the chimney and dissipates without a trace in the atmosphere. Ash settles on under the firebox. From where it has to be removed from time to time. In its composition - purely mineral salts suitable for fertilization. The boiler also forms small amounts of organic radicals, but they are oxidized by atmospheric oxygen already 1-2 m from the chimney mouth to carbon dioxide and water, because they are formed at high temperatures and are very light, low molecular weight

Not so in Buller. The reaction water immediately after the economizer falls into condensate. Each of its droplets is a thin film rolled into a ball, and the physicochemistry of thin films is strikingly different from that for massive aggregates of matter. And then - ash particles, heavy organic radicals. As a result, it is not easy to settle into the sump dirty water, and a cocktail of monstrous toxicity, carcinogenicity and the devil knows what else.

This crap (no quotes) needs to be put somewhere. Leaving the end of the "pipe that reaches the ground" open will gradually wash the foundation, and you will not be able to eat vegetables from the garden. Slowly take out and pour out - the properties of buleryan sludge condensate are such that it will not hide from the SES and ecologists, with all that it implies.

Therefore, bullers are also called greenhouse ovens. They are most often placed in greenhouses without an economizer (see Fig.) Flowers, early and all-season vegetables are highly profitable products, it will not be expensive not only to put up with the worst efficiency, but also to change the entire stove in a year or two or three.

True, the exhaust of such a buller still smells like it, but greenhouses with greenhouses themselves emit methane, ethylene, and so on in the same spirit. Therefore, according to sanitary rules, they cannot be built near residential buildings, so the smoke from the buller does not even require a separate "solution to the issue".

Some cunning flower growers, especially in water-poor places, reasoning that tulips, roses and carnations do not eat, and many plants with luxurious flowers are poisonous in themselves, put bullers in the full scheme, and after filtering sludge condensate, they run it into drip irrigation systems. However, tomato and strawberry experiments of this kind always end with the resuscitation of buyers, an investigation and high-profile scandals with sanctions, and even prison.

What's best for yourself

Methods for disposal of sludge condensate have not yet been developed either technically, commercially or organizationally. Therefore, although the legislation and sanitary rules do not specifically stipulate anything about stove sludge, it is better to put a greenhouse stove in a greenhouse. And at home, for yourself, strain yourself and mount a double-circuit boiler, pyrolysis or gas. Expensive, who argues. But health is more expensive.

Video: Buleryan oven review

The Buleryan gas generating furnace is distinguished by high heat transfer and efficiency. Thanks to the use of convection air flows, it turned out to increase the heating rate, and the use of the pyrolysis process significantly reduced fuel consumption and increased heat transfer.

Buleryan's device and principle of operation

Gas generator furnace long burning Buleryan was developed by Canadian specialists, especially for the needs of lumberjacks who needed fast heating of unheated rooms.

The equipment has two distinctive characteristics that significantly affect the process and efficiency of heating a building:

The long-burning solid fuel boiler Buleryan, from one fuel load, works for about 6 hours. The furnace is designed for any type of solid fuel, except for coking coal. Suitable for the firebox: firewood, pellets, sawdust and wood chips. Although the manufacturers do not recommend making changes to the design, at your own peril and risk, you can convert the boiler for mining.

Is it possible to put Buleryan in a residential building

Canadian pyrolysis boilers for solid fuels of long burning Buleryan were originally designed to heat residential unheated buildings in which lumberjacks lived in winter period time. Since its inception, the design of the furnaces has been slightly modified. Each manufacturer has contributed to the changes.

At the moment, the installation of the Buleryan furnace in wooden house or any other building is completely defensible. The boilers were especially popular due to the possibility fast heating unheated premises: garages, country houses and summer cottages, warehouses, shops, etc. A stove with a minimum performance, it is easy to cope with heating a room up to 100 m³.

There is a possibility to heat an apartment building with several floors. To do this, you will need to make a heating system using air ducts.

How to put Buleryan in the house correctly

In order to correctly install a pyrolysis oven for a house on a long burning wood Buleryan, the peculiarity of the work, as well as the manufacturer's recommendations regarding installation, are taken into account. The efficiency and productivity of the equipment is significantly affected by errors made during installation and subsequent operation.

One of the important requirements is to ensure unhindered circulation of heated air flows in the room. Obstacles in the path of convection flows lead to the appearance of unheated zones, as well as unevenly heated areas in the room.

In addition to the features of the movement of convection flows, during installation, the existing fire safety standards, manufacturer's recommendations regarding the use of air ducts and other nuances are taken into account.

Fire safety standards when installing Buleryan

Although the solid fuel heating boiler Buleryan makes the most of the heat released during combustion, the temperature of the exhaust flue gases still exceeds 300 ° C. The PPB standards require the manufacture of fire-prevention cuts when the chimney passes through the floor slabs and the roof, install a protective screen on the Buleryan body, and follow other recommendations:

One of the main problems of installing Buleryan in a residential area is the strong heating of the furnace body. Touching the surface can easily get burned. It will be necessary to ensure the safety of residents by installing a protective casing or lining the stove with bricks.

Do you need a foundation for Buleryan

The all-metal construction of Buleryan with numerous pipes welded into it, weighs from 57 kg (minimum weight) and above. The average weight is about 100 kg. Based on these parameters and following the installation guide, there is no need to make a foundation for the furnace.

As an exception, we can single out the situation when, when installing the Buleryan furnace, it is planned to impose a brick on the body. Although safety requirements do not require a concrete foundation to be made, owners may decide to make one to ensure maximum safety, fire protection and boiler stability.

In most cases, the wooden floor is covered with a sheet of non-combustible material, with thermal insulation underneath.

How to dissipate heat from Buleryan into rooms

Buleryan's design is designed to heat a room that does not have interior walls and partitions. Any obstacles in the path of the convection currents of heated air reduce the heating efficiency.

To increase the volume of the heated room or to make it possible to heat a building with more than 1 floor, air ducts are used.

Air heating of several rooms based on Buleryan will require some alteration of the design of the furnace itself. It is optimal that the location of the air ducts is planned even at the stage of preparing the design documentation, which is especially important during the construction of a 2-storey building. Preliminary planning will allow to provide for special ventilation ducts for laying pipes connected to the convectors of the oven.

There are some rules for installing flexible metal hoses for distributing heat to several rooms:

If you use wood-fired hot air boilers Buleryan as the main source of heating, with hoses for supplying warm air to other rooms, you can solve the issue of autonomous heating of large buildings with several floors and the presence of a large number of rooms.

Is it possible to overlay Buleryan with bricks

It is often required to refine Buleryan with ceramic bricks for several reasons:
  1. Ensure safe operation.
  2. Design the Buleryan stove in the interior of the house.
The model with a glass door looks especially beautiful after cladding, appearance resembling a fireplace or a Russian stove.

When performing work, the following nuances are taken into account:

  • The size of the stand for the stove, depending on the model, is 25-30 cm. The brickwork is made so that the hole for the firebox is approximately 40-45 cm from the floor level.
  • During masonry, convection holes are left for the intake and exhaust of heated air.
Styling a Buleryan stove for a stove or fireplace, if you have certain building skills, can be easily done independently.

How to remake Buleryan for working off

As already noted, Buleryan is not intended to work on mining. But if desired, it is possible to remake the Buleryan stove to work for burning waste oil. This can be done in two ways:
  • A dropper is installed for mining - this method does not require large material costs. A container for oil is mounted. A hole for the pipe is cut in the firebox, a tap is installed that regulates the fuel supply.
The main condition for work is good traction and low oil flow rate. The disadvantage of this solution is low heat transfer and structural performance.
  • A nozzle (burner device) is placed inside the firebox (usually on the door) for testing. Just a few years ago, the manufacture of a burner to convert the Buleryan stove to waste oil was completely on the shoulders of the local Kulibins, which often led to a quick stove failure, frequent need to clean the chimney and other troubles.
Now you can purchase a ready-made burner device that provides the maximum percentage of oil combustion. A home-made waste oil burner for Buleryan is significantly inferior in its characteristics to factory products.

All risks associated with changes in Buleryan's design are fully borne by the purchaser of the unit. Claims and complaints after the modification are not accepted by the manufacturer.

How to choose a boiler Buleryan

To select a suitable convection-type gasification oven, several important parameters are taken into account:
  1. Required power.
  2. Availability of additional functions.
  3. Manufacturer.
  4. Furnace and installation costs.
The right decision will allow you to enjoy the operation of the stove and save you from unnecessary worries and discontent.

How to choose the volume Buleryan

The technical characteristics of the Buleryan pyrolysis heating furnace are indicated in the operating instructions attached by the manufacturer. In particular, the documentation clearly stipulates how much room a particular model of a solid fuel boiler can heat.

In foreign models of Buleryan, parameters are indicated in m³, in domestic counterparts in m².

Buleryan with hob

In addition to heating the building from a TT furnace installed in country house other functions are pending. A pleasant bonus will be the possibility of cooking or heating water. For this purpose, Canadian gas-generating ovens of the Buleryan type are intended, for heating and cooking food, with a flat top.

If you plan to cover the boiler under the "Russian stove", the hob is not covered with a brick, but made flush with the last row of masonry.

Installation of the Bullerjan long burning furnace with hob, allows you to provide the required amount hot water and prepare the necessary food. In the combustion mode, 6 liters of water is heated to boiling for 10-15 minutes.

What factories produce Buleryan

Despite the name, "Canadian ovens" have long been produced at factories located in Russia and neighboring countries. Judging by customer reviews, the main demand is for the products of three companies.

Kievsky Novaslav Is a Ukrainian company specializing in the manufacture of stove equipment for baths, saunas, and heating of residential and industrial premises. Stoves are presented in the following series:

NMK is a Novosibirsk metalworking company that manufactures stoves, boilers, and all the necessary accessories and components for connection. Convection ovens Sibir BV Buleryan are produced on the basis of the NMC enterprise. You can purchase the following products:

Eurosib is a Russian company specializing in the production of all-metal structures. The main feature of the offered models is the presence of a hob in some models. Eurosib LLC offers the consumer several basic product modifications:

How much does a solid fuel boiler Buleryan cost

Several factors affect the cost of the furnace:
  • Performance- the difference is obvious if, for example, we compare the cost of Eurosib ovens. A model designed for heating 100 m³ will cost approximately 9-11 thousand rubles, the purchase of a powerful convection oven for 1200 m³ will cost the owner from 42 to 45 thousand rubles.
  • Availability hob - models with the possibility of cooking, have a lower performance and are mainly intended for heating small spaces... The price, in comparison with similar products with convection outlets, is 10-15% higher.
  • Manufacturer - this factor practically does not affect the cost. If you buy equipment of a similar power, then its cost will be almost identical.
  • Installation - the cost of a turnkey Buleryan installation will add about 20-30% to the equipment price, depending on the contractor.

The main difficulty and feature that is taken into account when installing with your own hands is the installation of the chimney. Insufficient draft leads to increased settling of soot on the pipe walls and a decrease in the productivity of the convection oven.

Buleryan - reviews and comparisons

At one time, the release of Buleryan was a real breakthrough in the field of heating systems, causing extremely enthusiastic comments. At the moment, negative reviews have already appeared, allowing us to see the disadvantages of convection ovens.

Before purchasing Buleryan of any model, you should familiarize yourself with the opinion of experts about Buleryan furnaces. The real experience of those who have been using a heat generator for some time will also not be superfluous and will allow you to prepare, and it is possible to avoid common mistakes in operation, leading to a decrease in efficiency and a deterioration in thermal performance.

Why, when melting Buleryan, smoke pours out of all the holes

If, when firing up, smoke comes out of the blower, the reason usually lies in one of the following violations:
  • Insufficient chimney height- the pipe, according to SNiP, must be more than 5 meters and rise above the roof. The calculation is performed depending on the distance from the visor. Insufficient height leads to a deterioration in traction characteristics, which is especially noticeable when firing up.
  • Switching to gasification mode enabled- during firing up, the gate valve must be in the normal combustion position (open). When switching to the gasification mode, the area of the outlet in the damper is reduced in order to reduce the intensity of combustion and make the fuel literally smolder in the chamber.
  • Narrowing of the chimney duct- Another common reason is the overgrowth of the internal lumen of the pipe, due to the deposition of resins on the walls and the accumulation of condensate. Cleaning the chimney will fix this problem.

What are the tricks of prolonging the combustion process of Buleryan

In fact, there are no special tricks. With proper operation of the stove, it is guaranteed to work for 8-10 hours on one tab of firewood. During the combustion, it is recommended to adhere to the operating rules described in detail in the technical documentation:
  • Correct positioning of the power regulator and the gasification regulator when firing up in the normal combustion mode. After reaching the temperature in the combustion chamber above 230 ° C, the furnace is transferred to the gas generation mode.
  • The pyrolysis process requires the fuel to meet certain requirements, the main of which is a maximum moisture content of up to 20%. In the gas generation mode, CO is released. Afterburning of gases takes place in a special chamber, separated from the firebox, which makes it possible to obtain an additional amount of thermal energy.
The efficiency of Buleryan's work directly depends on the total volume of gas produced. Maximum performance is achieved when using moderately damp fuel (moisture no more than 20%).
During the kindling process, it will be necessary to adjust the operation of the stove. Most models have a built-in regulator for heating convection air flows, which allows you to select the most comfortable mode and, if necessary, reduce the consumption of fuel used.

Which oven is better - Buleryan or Butakov

Buleryan's main competitor is the products of the domestic company Termofor, which manufactures several models of convection equipment, differing in design and performance from the "Canadian". The most common of them should be compared with each other: and.

Comparative characteristics productivity and efficiency of long-burning furnaces Buleryan and Butakov:

  • Heating rate- Buleryan begins to give off heat almost immediately after kindling, the domestic analogue will need about half an hour to warm up.
  • Gas generation - Buleryan does not burn out from 30 to 50% of the emitted gas according to various sources. In Butakov's stoves, this ratio is less, only up to 30%.
  • Structural differences- Butakov's oven is not protected by convection pipes. Often, the body is heated red-hot. The likelihood of getting burned is quite high. The stove is not designed for heating by connecting ventilation pipes, therefore it is used only for heating one room.
Buleryan's body heats up less. By connecting air ducts, it is possible to heat rooms located on several floors.
  • Efficiency - for both designs is within 70%.
Comparison of Butakov's stove and the Canadian "potbelly stove" Buleryan shows the clear advantages of the latter. A domestic heat generator is suitable for heating unheated buildings that do not have internal partitions. Buleryan has a wider field of application. The cost of the "Canadian" is more, only about 5%. Buleryan is definitely better.

Which is better - Buleryan or Fire Battery

The main structural difference between the Fire Battery model from the Termofor company is a unique case made in the form of a conventional steel radiator with fins like a conventional battery.

The principle of secondary air supply is used, which significantly reduces the hardness of radiation emanating from metal surface... Structural changes made it possible to increase the percentage of exhaust gas afterburning, to reduce the volume of the remaining ash. Separately, it can be noted good protection housing, preventing burns.

The device and principle of operation of the Buleryan wood-fired gas generator heating furnace is somewhat inferior to thermophore convection "batteries". But Fire Battery has a significant drawback - they cannot be used to heat several rooms at once. Wood-fired metal furnaces for a long-term burning house Buleryan, thanks to their design, allow this to be done.

If heating of one room in an unheated building is required, it is better to choose the Fire Battery model. For heating large rooms with several rooms and floors, you should opt for Buleryan.

The Canadian company "Buleryan" is engaged in the production of stoves and fireplaces. It was originally called "Breneran". The company's employees produced the first boiler in 1993. It was in high demand at the time and was very economical. Also, users noted the reliability of its design. In addition, it was safe for human health.

Production of long burning furnaces

To date, all Buleryan products are manufactured at five factories. At the same time, it undergoes strict control and is carefully checked. All this makes it possible to produce furnaces with a high heat transfer coefficient. Additionally, manufacturers have tried to make a durable case for them. As a rule, it consists of 4 mm thick steel sheet. Thanks to the use of innovative technology, the Buleryan ovens are not big. As a result, the whole structure turns out to be airtight and safe for human health.

How does the oven work?

There is a volumetric secondary chamber inside the furnace. Behind it are the heat exchange tubes, which are responsible for the temperature in the system. Next is the chimney pipe, which can be adjusted. A special double wall is installed at the rear of the oven. The blower and ash pan are located in the primary chamber of the device. Near the front wall there is a regulator for changing the power. Next is the door to the loading chamber with a handle.

Features of the installation of Buleryan furnaces

Installing this kind of unit in the house is a responsible business. In order to avoid a fire in the room, the floor and ceiling must be made of non-combustible materials. In some cases, the use of thermal insulation is allowed. The stove chimney must be wrapped with mineral wool. Its thickness should be at least 200 mm on average. Additionally, you need to check the design of the chimney. Horizontal sections longer than 80 cm are not allowed. The chimney size, in turn, must be at least 4 m, and its diameter - 120 mm.

The exit to the chimney is also very high quality. Additionally, many noted on the positive side the welding of pipes. In general, all of their curves have the correct shape.

Thus, there are no places on the furnace where the pipe narrows (the diameter is the same along the entire length). This increases productivity significantly. With the help of a two-phase combustion system, the stove is able to heat a dacha with an area of 40 sq. m. with a ceiling height of not more than 2.5 meters.

New model of the "Buleryan MAXI (type 00)" furnace

The reviews of the Buleryan MAXI oven are different. Many buyers praise this model for its performance and economy. Unlike previous models, this oven has a power of as much as 7 kW. This is quite enough to heat a summer cottage with a volume of 125 cubic meters. m. In this case, the efficiency is at the level of 75%. The new modified firebox of this stove has already proved itself on the positive side. Its door is large and allows you to quickly load the wood.

At the same time, the depth of the furnace is significant, and wood waste can be put up to 6 kg at a time. As a result, the temperature will be kept stable for 7 hours. Power adjustment is very simple and even a beginner can handle it. In installation, the oven is also simple, and will not cause any special problems. According to the owners of these devices, given the low cost of this model, it is perfect for almost any summer cottage.

What do experts say about Buleryan MAXI (type 00)?

This Canadian stove "Buleryan" received reviews among experts not as enthusiastic as other models of this company. So, many experts consider it to be quite large. Therefore, in order to place it, you need a lot of space. Moreover, the weight of this model is very serious - 80 kg.

It should also be borne in mind that the chimney for it must be large. In this case, you can use a brick or metal chimney. Of the advantages of the model, experts noted the quality of welding on the body. All oven tubes fit very tightly and their surface is flat. The power regulator, in turn, works properly and is easy to adjust.

At the same time, they are distinguished by amazing efficiency and high efficiency, which can reach an impressive 85%. The advantages of such furnaces also include fast and trouble-free start-up after prolonged downtime, the possibility of ignition at subzero temperatures, and the minimum requirements for starting operation.

Buleryan can operate in two modes - fuel combustion, when there is a need to ensure rapid heating of any room, and smoldering, in which the furnace will relatively stably maintain the required indicators on the thermometer. There will be no need for additional maintenance, except for periodically loading a new batch of firewood after 5–12 hours and, if necessary, a simple adjustment of the draft.

Scope of application of ovens

Wood stoves have proven to be excellent in heating household facilities (greenhouses, workshops, garages). Buleryany can also be used as an alternative backup heating in a private residential building. For example, they will come in handy during the off-season, when weather conditions force the room to warm up for a short time.

In severe frosts, such stoves can help maintain a comfortable temperature in the house, significantly lightening the load on the central heating system. This is a great option for a summer residence, if you intend to come there periodically, but at different times of the year. In this case, it makes no sense to equip serious heating communications.

Buleryan, on the other hand, is the best suited to quickly and easily solve the problem with heating the house. In addition, these ovens are distinguished by their peculiar beauty and, in addition to their basic functions, they can become original and unusual element, allowing you to customize the interior of the room.

Buleryan stoves are inexpensive and easy to purchase, or even possible. The installation of such heating devices is extremely simple, and if you wish, you can do it yourself. You only need to determine and properly equip a place for the stove, install the unit and connect it to the chimney.

Place for the oven

The location of the stove in the home is of paramount importance. For heating the entire building, it is better to equip a place on the ground floor in the very big room... Then the warm air from the operating oven will gradually spread to all other rooms.

Individual placement is preferable in cases where it is supposed to be used to heat only one room. Heating devices of this type are installed so that they can:

  • effectively heat the entire room;
  • do not interfere with the free movement of people;
  • have sufficient space for service;
  • and a constant supply of combustion air.

Most often, Buleryan stoves are located near the outer or inner walls of the house. Corner placement is very popular. Installation in the center of the room is also possible, but only on condition that the room is spacious enough. For safe operation of the heater, the following minimum distance from the furnace body to the walls must be maintained:

  • 1 meter - for wooden structures;
  • 0.7 meters - for plastered and tiled bases;
  • 0.5 meter - for single brickwork or protective structure made of mineral wool and an all-metal sheet;
  • 0.3 meters - for double brickwork with non-combustible cladding.

In addition, there should always be an unoccupied space in front of the firebox with a size of at least 1.25 meters. According to fire safety requirements, it must be covered with a solid sheet of metal to prevent accidental ignition of the room from a falling spark.

Oven base

The base for the furnace can be, for example, a cement screed. This strong, durable and fireproof coating will provide both good stability of the unit and fire safety in the building. In addition, it is possible to build a solid brick podium, followed by its facing with tiles or stone.

As an option for the foundation, it is allowed to lay an asbestos-cement sheet on the floor under the entire base of the furnace, plus the top coating must be made of solid thick metal, securely fixed around the entire perimeter. The minimum dimensions of the base must be larger than the dimensions of the furnace model:

  • on the sides - 20 cm on each side;
  • front and back - 0.6 m.

Note: ovens must not be placed on wooden floors, linoleum or any other flammable coating. All such materials should be removed immediately, and to install Buleryan, prepare a good base in the chosen place.

If the foundation for the stove was made flush with the floor, in order to improve air circulation through the lower openings of the pipes and, as a result of better heating of the room, Buleryan should be raised to a slight elevation. It can be:

  • brickwork on clay mortar, followed by facing with decorative non-combustible material;
  • welded metal stand from pipes under the legs of the structure;
  • stone slabs, subject to their integrity.

The minimum lifting height should be 20 cm, the maximum is 60 cm. The stove should be positioned on a raised platform and not wobbled. (Read how to make a stand for the Buleryan oven yourself in).

Stove chimney

Chimney device diagram for the Buleryan stove

An important point in Buleryan's installation is the installation of a chimney. The operation of the furnace provides for constant smoke removal through a straight vertical channel with a minimum horizontal section in the area of the outlet pipe, which is located on the rear wall of the body structure. Depending on the location of the heater inside the house, there are two options for placing chimneys:

  • outside the building (when the stove is located near the load-bearing walls);
  • inside the house (when located near the internal partitions).

Click to see a diagram of the chimney under the Buleryan stove inside the house

  1. According to the manufacturer's recommendations, the minimum chimney height should be 5 m for the smallest model, and 6 and 7 m for large stoves. In this case, the upper part of the pipe should rise at least 0.5 m above the upper point of the roof. An excess of this indicator by 1.5 m indicates the need for a special system of stretch marks designed to keep the chimney stationary.
  2. The upper part of the pipe should be equipped with a protective element in the form of a fungus or a cone. So atmospheric precipitation will not be able to penetrate the chimney, and the draft will be stronger.
  3. For periodic cleaning of the chimney from soot and condensate, a tee is placed in the area of the junction of the horizontal and vertical sections, the lower part of which continues with a small piece of pipe and ends with a removable plug.
  4. When the chimney is located externally, its horizontal part is passed through the wall by means of a special pass-through pipe, a shaped element with thermal insulation that protects the walls from high temperatures of furnace gases. In the area of the tee, a bracket is attached that supports the entire structure of the chimney. The vertical part along the facade is reinforced every 2 meters with clamp fasteners or wall brackets to give the pipe additional rigidity.
  5. The internal location of the chimney assumes the passage floor slabs and roofs, which are carried out through the passage pipe and the roof penetration, respectively. In homes where the floor is made of wood, it is worth taking extra precautions. Between the structural elements and the sleeve of the branch pipe, it is necessary to lay additional insulation from any non-combustible foil insulation.

Take a note: the joints of the chimney elements can be fastened together with a clamp, rivets or self-tapping screws, which will only give additional strength to the entire structure. However, care must be taken that the docking does not fall on the marching pipes located both in the wall and in the floors.

After finishing the installation of pipes, it is worth checking the thrust force in the chimney duct. The easiest way is to use a regular newspaper. A small piece of the sheet must be brought to the open lower opening of the chimney. If there is a draft, the paper will immediately react with deviations towards the channel.

Now it remains only to install Buleryan in the place due to him, connect the stove to the chimney and insulate the joint with stove sealant. To check the quality of the work performed, it is also worth arranging a control ignition of the furnace with a small amount of dry chips. The absence of smoke in the room and "leaks" at the joints of the chimney elements will indicate that everything was done correctly. This montage wood stove Buleryan can be considered complete.

Watch an overview video about the Buleryan furnace:

The Buleryan heating system is an all-welded steel structure with multiple pipes on its sides. Cold air comes from the floor, it penetrates through the lower pipe nozzles and heats up. And then it moves through the pipes pressed against the furnace of the heater.

Already heated air comes out of the upper nozzles, which is evenly distributed throughout the room. Within 15 minutes after firing up the furnace, the air reaches a temperature of 120 ° C.

Reviews of the main benefits

User reviews of the Buleryan furnace will allow you to understand what the described design is. It is quite compact, but easily copes with heating a room up to 100 m 2. If you purchase equipment of higher power, then it will be able to heat a room up to 400 m 2. At the same time, the period between the bookmarks of firewood reaches 12 hours. According to users, during operation, you only have to put firewood in the firebox several times a day in order for the stove to maintain a constant temperature in the room.

If you want to buy a Buleryan heating stove, you should definitely read the reviews about it. From them you can find out that the firewood burns out at a certain speed, which is affected by the set power. This is also influenced by the type of wood. In just 3 hours after the device starts operating, the room heats up, and the air in it reaches an acceptable temperature.

If the area is large, then it is recommended to install several ovens or purchase one unit, the size of which will meet your requirements. Such an oven, according to users, is not only convenient, but also versatile. It does not form smoke and soot in the room, saves firewood, and also has a convenient door for storing firewood, which simplifies operation.

Main disadvantages

If you decide to install the Buleryan stove in the garage, experts recommend reading reviews about it. Among them, the ability of the equipment to work exclusively at the expense of firewood should be highlighted. It is impossible not to mention also that a large volume of generator gases never burns out, flying out into the chimney.

The firewood does not burn completely, the stove smokes at the same time, and the soot goes into the chimney pipe. This entails the need to bring the pipe 3 m from the height of the furnace. All these are additional costs, to which must be added the fact that the pipe needs thermal insulation. It does not matter if the structure is made of metal or brick.

Reviews of the Buleryan long-burning stove also indicate that condensate from water, soot and tar accumulates in the chimney during operation. This is due to the fact that the fuel does not completely burn out. The pipe is coked, and during kindling it forms bad smell, which is especially important after a long downtime.

Consumers highlight another drawback, which is expressed in the fact that dust burns on the hot metal of the structure. This does not improve the atmosphere of the premises. The principle of operation of the heating device leads to such consequences: the design is designed for heat transfer from the surface. It is not so easy to ensure long burning and maximum heat transfer on one tab. To do this, you will have to master the skills of adjusting the damper. Reviews of the Buleryan dacha stove indicate that burning by the smoldering method causes many side effects.

Reviews of the analogue "Buleryan"

When you have read the reviews about the Buleryan heating stove, it's time to study the Breneran. This equipment is an analogue of a convection device and is the development of Professor Butakov. The unit is identical to Buleryan, but the latter is the fruit of German developments, while Breneran was first produced in Russia.

The design differs from "Buleryan" in the large section of air pipes and their impressive number. They are hidden in the housing, and the air intake is at right angles. According to users, the body is made in the shape of a parallelepiped. The chimney is introduced into the upper plane.

For ash, the structure has a built-in drawer, the system is complemented by a grate. It is the point of entry of the chimney that makes the use of the stove not very convenient. When changing the position of the damper on the pipe, you can easily burn yourself against the top of the body or the base of the pipe. As consumers emphasize, the rotary damper does not have a lock, and when you try to set the blower on its own, it moves under the weight of the handle.

In the oven, firewood burns out almost completely, only a minimal amount remains. In the Russian-made convection ovens, according to consumers, one can find flaws, they are expressed in the absence of elements, as well as poorly executed seams. If you read reviews about the Buleryan wood-fired long-burning stove, you will be able to understand that it does not have such imperfections. The smallest models of units cost about 9,000 rubles.

Reviews about the features of the "Buleryan" operation in a residential building

Buleryan is an ideal solution for temporary residences and summer cottages. However, many consumers, in their words, doubt whether it is worth installing such equipment in residential premises. Here, the opinions of buyers differ, so it is worth taking a closer look at the study of this issue.

After reading reviews about the Buleryan stove, you can understand that such an installation can have a negative impact on a healthy atmosphere at home. With a portion of air, ordinary dust is drawn into the structure, which first heats up, and then begins to burn. Thermal decomposition does not require too high a temperature. Buyers emphasize that the combustion products of dust particles are present in the air and can have a negative effect.

In order to get out of such a situation, it is necessary to purchase "Buleryan" and an ordinary stove. The first will heat the house, and the second will keep the temperature constant. Experts emphasize that with the correct location of "Buleryan" and the observance of elementary rules and frequency, it is permissible to use such an installation in a residential building.

Feedback on operation

You will be satisfied with the use of the oven if you take care in its operation. Manufacturers claim that the described design is universal. Sometimes she is even compared to solid fuel boiler... However, this belief is not entirely true.

The best fuel for a stove is wood. It is recommended to use non-resinous rocks. These should include:

  • birch;
  • poplar;
  • acacia.

Pallets and briquettes are great. Kindling, according to consumers, is best done with logs, but briquettes are perfect for the combustion process. Do not use flammable substances for ignition. Reviews of the Buleryan stove say that before laying firewood, it is recommended to dry them on the stove, then their combustion will be more efficient.

The aforementioned period of operation on one fuel tab will be relevant only when the furnace is fully loaded. The chimney should not be made lower than the recommended height. In order to ensure successful combustion, good draft is required, which is possible only with a total chimney height of 5 m.

Consumers emphasize that the pipe should be assembled against, and not in the direction of the gas movement. This will prevent resin from spilling out from the oven openings to the floor. With the correct installation of the chimney, the resins will return and burn. Owners of private houses who successfully use Buleryan note that you must check the smoker twice a year. This will eliminate problems with heating equipment.

Feedback on installation features

The Buleryan 100 stove, the reviews of which you could read above, according to consumers, should be installed at some distance from flammable objects and materials. The distance should be equal to 1 m.If the surfaces are covered with plaster, then this parameter can be reduced to 75 cm.

Buleryan is usually installed on a pedestal, which acts as a decoration and acts as a functional element. Inside, consumers are advised to make a niche for firewood. Usually the base is made of piles.

Reviews about the features of cleaning

After reading the reviews and disadvantages of the Buleryan oven, you can decide whether you should purchase such equipment for a summer residence or at home. But if you have already decided on the choice, then you need to know more closely how cleaning is carried out. No matter how high quality heating equipment, from time to time it requires preventive maintenance. Buleryan will begin to show signs of contamination over time. According to consumers, they are expressed in the following:

  • lack of traction;
  • worsening melting;
  • difficulty closing the gate.

One of several technologies can be used for cleaning. The main thing is that it is safe. Reviews and shortcomings of the Buleryan furnace indicate that such equipment can become a source of increased danger. Consumers advise against using the popular burn-through cleaning. This method is dangerous, although effective. Some daredevils decide on this extreme move.

Its essence lies in heating the pipe to a temperature where the metal turns red. Under such conditions, the resin simply burns out, and the chimney is cleaned. Cleaning, according to the buyers of the furnace, can also be mechanical. For this, a special rod is used, with the help of which it is necessary to get into the pipe from the roof.

The length of the chimney above the surface should be approximately 3 m, so this approach is equally dangerous without the use of belay. In winter, such manipulations should not be carried out. After reading the reviews of the owners about the Buleryan oven, you will single out another way for yourself - through a glass. If the smoker is clogged thoroughly, and it is impossible to clean it from above, then you can knock on the pipe. However, some of the resin will still remain in place.

The smoker is sometimes cleared from the inside, although this option is rather difficult. From the materials at hand, you should make something like a folding rule with a ruff at the end. You can use an aluminum corner or pipe. The design should be pretty light. The height of the pipe is decent, and if the device is heavy, then cleaning, according to the owners of "Buleryan", will be quite difficult to carry out.

More economical and easier to use rigid but flexible wire or rope. Its end must be rolled up in a ring along the diameter of the pipe and the chimney must be cleaned through the condensate glass. According to the homeowners where Buleryan is installed, this procedure has one drawback. It is expressed in the fact that a lot of dirt is formed in the process, but you have to spend no more than an hour on cleaning.
