How to make a patio in the country and in a private house? Photo of patio design. How to create a recreation area in the country with your own hands: photos of modern patios, ideas for arrangement

Procurement and storage secrets

Hot sunny Mediterranean: narrow stone streets, sultry air, tropical greenery and a corner of shady bliss hidden from human eyes behind the high walls of the house. The Italian patio - patio was created with special love, it was a cozy place for the whole family to relax. This is probably why these days, when landscaping a site, many gardeners reproduce a piece of the Mediterranean style in their garden.

The patio in the country or in the garden is becoming more and more popular, and its arrangement allows the owners of the site to plunge into the romantic atmosphere of the Mediterranean. Let's take a look at Dream House and see how the patio idea can be applied to modern landscape design.

How to plan a patio on a site: a variety of options

In modern landscape design, the notion of a patio as a completely enclosed backyard has gotten lost among the variety of options. It can be two walls that hide the owners of the site from the heat at noon and the prying eyes of neighbors, or a landscaped area surrounded by a hedge. But the base, a rocky flat area, remains unchanged.

The desire to equip a patio in your dacha or a plot of a private house is easy to fulfill. First of all, it makes sense to define a location for this site. It is assumed that it will be a place for family rest, and this should be taken into account when planning. The area for the site must be flat. It is possible that it will offer a wonderful view of the garden, or in the future, flower beds and hedges will be planned to create privacy.

Having determined the place, the gardener must consider the style of decoration: walls, hedges, or both together. Then the site is prepared: before laying the main patio covering, fertile soil from the selected area is selected. In its place, a gravel cushion of small height no more than 10 cm is poured, then it is filled with coarse sand to the same height. The base of the rocky area is laid on top of the sand.

DIY patio creation: materials and methods

Do-it-yourself base materials for building a patio in the country can be very different: fake diamond, natural stone slabs, cobblestones, tiles, bricks, paving stones. The most important thing to consider is ease of use. A cobblestone that is too large will not create an ideal and even surface; garden furniture will constantly sway on such a site.

The selected material is tightly laid throughout the site only after the sand cushion has been leveled and abundant watering. Wet sand will settle, and possible errors that have arisen during the filling of the site will become noticeable. After correcting them, the sand is again moistened with water, then the conceived base is laid. At the end of the installation, the entire area is covered with dry sand in order to fill in the gaps between the stones. Then the sand is swept away, and the site is watered, all these actions are repeated again several times.

It is also possible to build patio walls using various materials... In place of the future walls, a trench is dug a little more than the intended width of the fence. The bottom of the trench is covered with gravel to avoid possible subsidence of the finished structure.

Walls are erected with or without bonding mortars (eg limestone). When erected, containers are immediately laid in niches for the subsequent planting of flower plants, if such an option is provided. The top of the walls is made obliquely, in this case, when precipitation falls, water does not linger on the stones and does not destroy the fence.

Patio: design for the soul

If walls are erected or patios are bounded by beautiful railings, a fireplace or outdoor stove can be placed on the site. In this case, it will be possible to comfortably spend time in this area even on cool summer evenings.

Basic patio designs are decorated with floral arrangements. In addition, raised flower beds or rock gardens are erected along the edge of the site. The selection of plants depends on the overall style or design of the patio. Plants with vibrant yellows and reds can be used to brighten up boring stone walls. Perennial climbing vines will close the walls and create additional coolness. If desired, the walls can be decorated with pots with a variety of ampelous plants.

The finishing touches to the patio will be garden furniture... A wonderful option would be products made from natural wood materials... In this case, the picture "patio" will be organically complete and pacifying. Perhaps the main furniture for a patio will be a table with chairs or a bench, because there is no better dining area in the garden than a well-appointed patio. It can also be swings and rocking chairs, soft sofas, hammocks and other furniture for convenience.

As you can see, it is quite possible to build and decorate a patio in the country or in the garden with your own hands. Of course, this article describes only an example of how to make a patio, so you can feel free to experiment with both materials and design options. The patio can be built on an elevation, and on level ground, or in a recess. The surface of the patio floor can be both stone and wood, but there is always an option when you can leave the ground, only by compacting it or filling it with rubble, or even equipping a patio on the grass.

To organize a comfort zone in the yard on summer cottage think over everything to the smallest detail. To make the patio an interesting, cozy and picturesque place where everything you need for relaxation will be located, consider some of the nuances of its arrangement.

Be sure to make a plan, which will include design and engineering work for the arrangement of this zone.
It is important to choose the right:

  • Patio size;
  • Its shape;
  • Location;
  • Materials for covering the base and paths;
  • Top cover, garden furniture;
  • Decor items;
  • Brazier, yard oven, barbecue, depending on how large your project is;
  • Plants for creating borders, flower beds and green islands.

Make an estimate, because the arrangement of the patio is a costly undertaking. Start from what you want to see in your yard. This can be a place where relatives and close friends gather for tea or a barbecue.

Perhaps you need a sophisticated, rich comfort zone with expensive décor items, fountains, designer furniture and wonders landscape design that you will show off to the guests of your home. Answer yourself honestly - and then move in the right direction.

Patio design in the country. How to arrange

There are a lot of options for decorating the patio. Consider the size of the patio. The best option- 3-4 sq. m for each of the guests. If you cannot allocate 4 sq. m - do not take on the implementation of this idea.

Patio base

How larger area patio, the more interesting the base can be. Coating perform from concrete tiles, clinker bricks, natural stone. For a small area, you need to apply the same type of coating.

If the seating area has sufficient space, combine different types finishing materials: the main area is covered with tiles or natural stone, cobblestone or gravel is used to frame the site. The paths leading to the patio are made of basic material.

A checkerboard pattern is not worth doing. The integrity of the recreation area will be compromised by the squaring. Too variegated surface is not needed. The base is just the background for the items that will be located on it.

Abroad, the coating is often made of wood. treated with special compounds. But in Russia, wood flooring is not yet perceived as the basis for a patio.

Protection from the vagaries of nature

For protection from bad weather you need pull the awning... Both permanent and temporary construction is possible, which is stretched if necessary. The glass roof will turn the patio into a winter garden, but you set a different task. Forget glass.

If you are setting up your patio thoroughly, you can make a fixed roof that reliably protects the space. It should be light and weightless, but at the same time strong.

Comfort zone fencing

Fill out the sides to keep the wind out and finish off the seating area. Don't build high walls- this is a corner of communication with nature, not a bunker. Sufficient low curbs, walls made of undersized plants... A hedge, which serves as both protection and decoration, will look spectacular if you pick up climbing or climbing plants with delicate flowers.

  • To liven up the space, use this technique: pull out several tiles in different places and place vases of flowers in them. Bright spots will liven up the site;
  • Match furniture and decor items in the same style. Let it be, for example, Provence. Forged furniture, wooden surfaces with a clearly visible texture of wood, delicate textiles with floral motifs or a checkered pattern. Flowering plants complement the overall composition;
  • A definite plus in the patio area at the dacha is an abundance of flowers and greenery in different variations: pots, floor, table vases, hedges. If space permits, make a small fountain or trickle;
  • Wicker furniture, napkins, vases, luxury samovar, figurines, pillows suitable color create comfort and mood;
  • Luminaires that can be placed in the most unexpected places give a special charm to the recreation area.

Important: objects should not be too few, otherwise the recreation area will look boring and uncomfortable. A pile of decor items, furniture, flowers, lack of free space will interfere with movement around the site. The patio will look cluttered, even if the rubbish is very expensive. A sense of style and good taste are the basis for creating the perfect patio area.

Bath with patio

Luxury, sophistication, a lot of pleasure. This is how the patio bath can be characterized. How pleasant it is to take a steam bath, and then relax in a cozy atmosphere. And if there is nature, clean air, fresh barbecue and good company nearby, then you should not even dream of the best rest.

This material is of high quality, resistant to moisture and fungus. It is convenient to construct various structures from it.

In the bath complex, you can equip a steam room, a shower room, a bathroom, a relaxation room and an indoor closed patio for several people. The walls, finished with linden clapboard, perfectly withstand the effects of steam.

An open patio adjacent to the building is also equipped with profiled laminated veneer lumber. The patio next to the bathhouse is somewhat reminiscent of a veranda, but of an open type. At the same time, complete protection from rain and wind is provided. The recreation area is designed in a rustic style. It is not recommended to clutter up the space.

To arrange side space, construct wooden lattices, which perform a decorative function and, at the same time, form a neat space. Sleek and reliable, they look impressive and beautiful. By adjusting the size of the cells, you can create railing of different styles.

For such a solid structure, make a refractory brick barbecue. Be sure to equip the chimney. Additionally, install a brazier. The floor can be made of timber. Stone or floor tiles would also be appropriate.

The patio area has a wooden table, benches or sturdy rustic chairs. In some places, you can put greens on the grates. She will perfectly shade the space on sunny days.

The construction of a bathhouse with an attached recreation area is quite an expensive pleasure. Usage quality materials will allow you to use the bath for a long time.

Despite the fact that this architectural element has been known for a long time and is used in many countries, in our country it began to gain popularity only in last years... Perhaps the culprit is the climate, which is relatively cool, often rainy, but the desire of people to relax in comfort has won, and now the patio area is no longer uncommon.

Many people mistakenly believe that this is another name for the terrace, in terms of their structure and field of application, these two elements of the site are really similar. However, there is one significant difference, the terrace is part of the house, one or more walls are in direct contact with it.

The patio can be arranged anywhere on the site as a completely separate building or adjacent to the house. As a rule, this area is open-air, but it can also be under a roof. In addition, the zone does not have a fence, unless it comes into contact with another building or site fence.

How to make a patio with your own hands

Several important rules for arranging a patio

Choosing the right place. This zone can be placed anywhere on the site, having previously thought over the approach to it. But, if you want privacy, you should not put it under the windows of your neighbors. Also, do not place the patio under trees, leaves and tree sap will contaminate furniture and interior items. It’s not nice if all this falls on the table with food.

Japanese style

It will also be nice if flower beds are placed nearby. The scent of fresh flowers can greatly enhance your holiday. Think right away, it might be worth installing and this will make the area stand out even more.

Choosing the right size... The size of the zone should be planned based on the number of people who will usually rest here. Don't forget about the guests. It is correct to provide 3m2 zones for each person so that it is not cramped.

Barbecue area or fireplace... These elements should be located on the leeward side so that smoke does not blow on the rest. It is quite difficult to determine this place without being a specialist. But, as a rule, the buildings on the site correct the wind flows and it is enough to observe it for a few days to understand where it comes from and where it most often blows.

Patio by the fireplace

Choosing furniture... Here you need to take into account that the climate in our country is changeable and rain can start abruptly even in summer. Therefore, use heavy soft sofas and the chair is not worth it, they will get wet and quickly deteriorate. Even a canopy won't always save you. Better easy wooden or plastic furniture with pillows that can be quickly removed.

Choosing a style

The patio, like the summer cottage itself, is the realization of the tastes of its owner. Someone loves an abundance of decor, while someone does not tolerate even a minimum of "unnecessary nonsense".

Fireplace patio with wooden canopy

This zone can be made in the general style of all buildings on the site, or it can be radically different. It all depends on your taste, funds or imagination. If the size of the plot and financial possibilities allow, such zones can be equipped with 2 or more, in different styles.

You can use any design techniques, as long as it is beautiful and appropriate. The most commonly used are leaked:

  • Mediterranean style, this is the birthplace of the patio, which is why it is so popular,
  • Rural style, closer to our people, therefore, no less popular,
  • An industrial style that is trendy enough these days to affect patio décor,
  • Japanese style for connoisseurs of Far Eastern culture.

With a canopy or without, what to choose

A beautiful patio in the country will delight you in any season, just make a canopy. It will protect you from rain or sun. Canopies can be either fixed or removable, it all depends on your imagination or the designer.

If you like to spend time outdoors, such as sunbathing, or enjoying the stars while relaxing in this area, this option will not work in this case.

Pros and cons of the closed option

Step-by-step instructions for the patio device

Making, in the full meaning of this word, is not entirely correct to call the arrangement of a patio. This is still not a veranda or a gazebo, this is, first of all, a zone. The arrangement consists of several main stages:

  • Preparing the placement site... It can be laid out with paving slabs, natural stone, granite, wood, brick, etc. Any material on which you can walk comfortably, for which you have enough money or imagination will do.

Do not take bulk materials such as sand or pebbles, they are difficult to walk on and difficult to clean. Also not worth leaving open ground... If it gets damp, the area will be uncomfortable until it dries.

The laying of these materials must be carried out according to all the necessary technologies so that the patio will last as long as possible. This is still an outdoor area that will be exposed to atmospheric influences.

Large tiles are often used, we will lay it with some distance from each other. This space is filled with soil and sown lawn grass... It looks very beautiful and creates the effect of even greater unity with nature.

  • We place furniture... A table and several armchairs or sofas placed around it are required. It is better to take a table not high, since this is not a dining area, but a place to relax. Upholstered furniture it is not advisable to use, since it is not suitable for permanent placement outside.
  • We equip the canopy... If you decide to make a closed patio, it is better to order a canopy to professional builders, even so that it does not fall on the head of the vacationers.

Patio with awning

A canopy that serves more as a decorative function

The fence goes into a decorative canopy

If you are confident in your abilities, you can build it yourself. By design, these are several support pillars and a roof on them. The choice of materials depends on the general style of the area. However, it is better not to use heavy materials. Below you can find a photo of examples of such awnings.

Beach umbrellas can be used as a canopy. They are not expensive; they can be easily purchased at a hardware store. You can install them anywhere, and, if you wish, remove them and enjoy the sun or the starry sky.

  • Brazier or fireplace... With the first option, everything is simple, you can buy it in a building supermarket or order production of individual project... Next, just install it in the required place and enjoy the barbecue area.

You cannot buy a real fireplace, it must be built and only a person with experience should be engaged in this. This is a very complex design, where the work as a whole will curl from minor trifles.

You can buy an imitation of a metal fireplace, it will cost much less. To cope with its functions, but to create the full feeling that can be obtained from this element will not work.

  • Fencing... In its classic form, this area has no fencing. However, nothing prevents you from doing it if you want. Can be used wooden picket fence, wooden lattices or even glass, it all depends on the style.

A patio with curtains can be an alternative. When opened, they act as a fence and you will get a closed resting place. At any time, they can be tied up, opening the space around the zone.

Climbing plants are sometimes used as a living fence. Plants such as maiden grapes, lemongrass, etc. will do. But these plants are seasonal, they will dry out in the fall and will need to be planted again in the spring.

  • Track... Depending on the location of the patio, it is necessary to think over and equip the path. You can lay it out of tiles or stone, it's up to your taste and wallet.
  • Lighting... If you want to spend evenings in this area, you cannot do without additional lighting. It is necessary to foresee the possibility of conducting electricity here in advance.

Illuminated patio paths

How and what to decorate the patio

Consider the design of the interior. This is a recreation area and it should completely immerse a person in the atmosphere of nature. Of course, perfect for decorating it Natural flowers... Regardless of the style, flowers will always fit harmoniously.

If electric lighting is provided, lamps can be an excellent decoration. Beautiful illumination in the evening will delight you.

Furniture and other accessories can decorate the area, but they should be more comfortable and practical.

Content

The first patios began to be built in ancient times in Mediterranean countries. At that time, these sites were cozy courtyards between houses, decorated with greenery. Now the patio is called a recreation area in the country, where it is so pleasant to spend time with family or friends. Making a patio in the country with your own hands, as practice shows, is not at all difficult.

What a patio looks like and where to place it

The house does not have to be built of wood. For a long time in the Mediterranean countries, a patio has become widespread - a paved area adjacent to the house for relaxation and receiving guests. Often, the patio looks like a very small, tiled area with a plastic table and a couple of chairs. There are also multi-tiered patios with flower beds and permanent furniture. However, in both cases, the patio is an "open-air room" that connects the house with the garden and serves as a transition zone between them, is a favorite place for the whole family to spend their leisure time.

Before you start building a patio in the country with your own hands, you should think about what you will use it for, choose the appropriate shape and materials for paving.

The ideal place to place such a patio is a part of the area that is partially illuminated by the sun, but for an extended period.

Look at the photo - if the patio in the country is located near the trees, they will provide the main shade:

In addition, such a neighborhood can create additional coziness and even have a health-improving effect. It is desirable that the site be protected from strong winds.

One of the most common options is the location of the patio area in the dacha, built with your own hands, along or behind the house on the same or different levels with the garden and the house. In this case, the surface of the patio should be at least two rows of masonry below the waterproofing layer of the basement of the house.

The size of the patio depends on the size of the plot, but it should not be less than 4 m2 in size. When determining the approximate size of the future beautiful patio in the country, start from the size of the surface flooring elements in order to minimize the need to chop slabs or blocks. On small area equip a small area, decorating it with plants in pots and tubs, or planting plants between the plates.

How to build a patio foundation

Before building a patio with your own hands, on the planned site it is necessary to remove the roots of perennial weeds, remove the top layer of soil to the depth of the future foundation and lay geotextiles.

If slabs are used for paving, then the foundation for them is made from a layer of crushed stone about 10 cm thick and a layer of coarse sand 5 cm thick.

For flooring made of wood, brick or blocks, prepare a sandy base with a layer of up to 10 cm.To make a beautiful patio, as experts advise, the foundation should extend beyond the patio by 8-15 cm.

Then, using the pegs, mark the surface horizontally for the foundation. Before making a patio in the country, prepare wooden pointed pegs 30 cm long in advance. There should be enough pegs to mark a grid with squares 1.5 x 1.5 m on each of the four edges of the peg every 5 cm. foundation level mark. Drive the first peg in one of the corners.

Its top must match exactly with the bottom edge of the pavement and with the surface of the sand layer. Drive a row of pegs along the wall of the house, leveling them up with a level. Then, every 1.5 m, drive in the remaining rows of pegs, aligning them with the level and board with a block nailed to one end in order to provide the site with the slope necessary for water drainage (about 1 cm by 1 m).

At the end of the surface marking, the foundation can be poured. Make sure that the surface of each layer (earth, rubble, sand) is level with the marks on the pegs.

Tamp down the soil well before applying the next layer. And before pouring the top layer of coarse sand, fill the voids in the layer of rubble with sand and tamp the surface again.

Use a cord and pegs to mark out the patio boundaries. For a square or rectangular patio, it is important that the corners are perfectly straight. After that, you can lay the topcoat.

How the foundation for a patio in the country looks like, laid with your own hands, is shown in the photo below:

How to make a beautiful patio in the country with your own hands

Patio coverings come in many varieties, but it is important that they match the decor of your home, paths, and garden plants. Avoid large areas of loose materials such as gravel and crushed bark, and avoid covering a large area with cobblestones or cobblestones that are uncomfortable to walk on.

Most often, to make the patio as durable as possible, concrete, hardwood flooring, natural or, paving slabs or brick.

Sometimes they combine several paving elements at once - for example, a strip of blocks is allowed along the perimeter or across the area paved with slabs; in the coating of brick, stone or slabs, inserts are made of gravel or cobblestone. In any case, the material should prevail, combined with the adjacent paths and the house. But remember that a large area should not be paved with any one material, and when decorating a small area, it will unnecessarily use many paving elements.

Wood flooring is arguably the cheapest option. However, wood, especially soft wood, has the shortest operational period, and in any case it must be pre-treated with an antiseptic. To make your own boardwalk, attach the planks with brass screws or anodized nails to sturdy wooden joists laid on brick supports. Leave a gap of 6-12 mm between the boards.

The most durable coatings are stone and clinker bricks. Materials such as sandstone, granite, large pebbles require a minimum of maintenance, do not impede the access of moisture and air to the soil and to the nearby plants. Natural stone has high wear and frost resistance, strength and durability. Lay out the patio around the perimeter with large stones, and fill the middle with the remaining smaller stones. Try to keep the distance between stones no more than 2.5 cm.

It is very convenient to lay out a rectangular or square patio with slabs. Now on sale you can even find concrete tiles that imitate wood cuts or boards. The combination of rectangular and square slabs looks impressive. First, lay a row of slabs along the wall of the house, and then lay the row on the far left at right angles to it. Continue fanning the slabs between these rows until you have paved the entire patio.

When building your patio, adhere to general rule paving the plot: if possible, move in the direction of the place where the material is folded. This eliminates the need to step on the slabs or bricks that have just been laid.

Paving bricks are also a convenient paving material. Its advantage lies, first of all, in the fact that they can pave a patio of any bizarre outlines, without resorting to chopping stones. The same can be said for blocks, both concrete and clay-based, which come in a variety of shapes and colors.

When paving, you can first make a solid curb from wood, brick, blocks or concrete, and then fill the interior with the material of your choice for the patio.

The following describes how you can decorate a patio in the country, built with your own hands.

Beautiful patio design in the country (with photo)

When decorating a patio in the country, you can decorate it with plants that are planted in tubs, raised flower beds or planting "pockets". The latter are simply an unsubstituted area within the patio that is filled with fertile soil.

So that when looking at the wall of the house adjacent to the patio, your gaze does not rest on the bare brick, attach a trellis to the wall or stretch a wire for climbing plants. The resting place can be planted with annual or perennial climbing plants, arrange hedge, install screens to protect from prying eyes and wind. To protect from the scorching sun, awnings, pergolas, umbrellas and awnings can be installed.

As shown in the photo, when decorating a patio in a dacha, you can supplement a recreation area with a yard fireplace, and, if large enough, with a decorative pond or fountain. When arranging, consider the rule: if decorative elements too small, the patio will look like an empty house, and if too much, it can feel cramped.

Most of us have a place at the dacha where you can hide from the scorching sun in the shade of plants, retire from the hustle and bustle and get pleasure from unity with nature or communication in a pleasant company. Most often, it is a patio where it is pleasant to spend time at your favorite pastime or rest. Today we will consider how to correctly place and make a patio in the country with our own hands.

The most widespread patio (Spanish Patio) was received during the time of Rome, and was a place surrounded by high walls of the house. Currently, the open-air patio is hidden from prying eyes by protective structures in the form of fences, screens or green fences. Before you decide to equip a patio at your summer cottage, you need to choose the right territory for it.

How to choose a seat

Most often, a patio area is set aside at the back wall of a country house.

In this case, one side of the recreation area will be completely closed, while the others are fenced off with bars or other devices, or left open.

Tip: provide an additional exit in the wall adjacent to the patio, then you don't have to go around the building once again, going to the kitchen or when you need to hide from the weather.

  1. Set up a playground in a shady, cozy corner of the garden where noise and curious glances cannot penetrate.
  2. Using mobile screens and trellises, stationary fences and gratings, entwined beautiful plants, you can even make an outdoor patio in the garden conditionally protected.
  3. A good location would be a site next to an artificial reservoir., then, in the heat, the air above it will be fresher and more humid, which will add comfort.

The size and shape of the patio depends on its functional tasks:

  • for a small secluded corner, an area of 2-3 m2 is quite enough;
  • if you want to comfortably accommodate a company of 3-4 people, prepare a place for 3-4 m2.

Advice: if you are striving to get autonomy in a suburban area, then renting a diesel generator for a summer residence will help you.

Choosing a cover

It should be tight, as the patio was originally paved. Consider the options:

Concrete The most economical and durable option is concrete slabs. Using a combination of rectangular and square shapes of products, you can achieve an interesting effect. The price of the work is much less than the rest of the options.
A natural stone
  1. Surpasses the previous version in beauty.
  2. Broken cuts of stones are able to form a bizarre pattern, which will give the surface a naturalness and special sophistication.
Paving slabs The material is able to create a fairly strong base. Its various shapes and shades make it possible to bring to life bold design solutions, for example, consisting of ornaments and patterns.
Wood
  1. Garden parquet made from wood waste and polymers. It has excellent performance characteristics. It surpasses natural wood in that it does not rot.
  2. Can be used in open areas natural wood flooring and decking, modern building material. Appearance the latter is difficult to distinguish from ordinary boards.

Substrate preparation and site laying

Below is an instruction that will allow you to do the work yourself:

  1. Enclose the area with pegs.
  2. Remove the topsoil to a depth of 100-150 mm.
  3. Fill the groove with sand with your own hands and align.
  4. Compact by sprinkling with water and leveling the surface with a rake.

Advice: keep in mind that the sand cushion should be 10-20 mm higher than the ground level.

The laying method depends on the material. But, in any case, each element should fit snugly against the other, and the slope of the site should be within 1-3˚ towards the garden.

For example:

  • paving slabs and concrete slabs can be laid directly on the sand "pillow", filling the gaps between the tiles or stones from above with mortar or sprinkling with sand;
  • install wooden flooring on boards made of boards inserted into a wooden frame.

Also, when installing the base, provide gutters with a width of 400 mm and a depth of 100-150 mm, connecting them with a common drainage system. Due to the fact that the patio area will rise 10-20 mm above the level of the surface of the site, it will become easier to mow with equipment.

To protect the place from bad weather and the scorching sun, it is recommended to make a canopy of translucent polycarbonate. You can also use removable options - awnings, which can be easily moved around the territory.

We equip the patio

Earlier we said that you can use a hedge of conifers and tall shrubs to fence your patio.

An interesting addition to the interior are plants planted in mixed-level mixborders or separately in planting pockets, as well as floor vases.

Tip: If you use evergreens or dwarf conifers, you can keep your patio colorful and attractive all year round.

  1. Openwork lattice walls entwined with vines or climbing roses can act as protective structures.
  2. Use small architectural decor - stone paths or miniature unusual sculptures.
  3. From plants for a summer residence, choose those that will fill the surrounding space with aroma:
    • rosemary;
    • laurel trees;
    • lavender;
    • lemon or tangerine trees.
  1. Decorate the walls with nasturtiums, begonias and ampel petunias.

Advice: When choosing furniture, be guided by its practicality, aesthetic appeal and performance.
