  • Soda(for metal and enamel teapots). Fill the kettle with water, pour 1 tbsp / l of soda into the water, bring to a boil, and then leave on low heat for 30 minutes. Then we wash the kettle, fill it with water again and boil it "empty" to remove the remaining soda.

  • Brine. Yes, you can also clean the kettle with ordinary pickle from under tomatoes or cucumbers. The citric acid in the brine will also help remove limescale. The scheme is the same: pour the brine, boil the kettle, cool, wash. Cucumber pickle perfectly removes rust from iron salts in a teapot.
  • Cleaning."Babushkin" method of descaling. Suitable for light limescale deposits in enamel and metal teapots. Lemon acid

  • use purified and softened water for boiling (use a water filter);
  • after boiling, drain the remaining water from the kettle, especially do not leave the water overnight;
  • do not wait for a lot of scale to form and its layer becomes thick and hard, the less sediment, the easier it is to remove it.

  • The use of citric acid. This tool can be used when working with any material, even with plastic. We dilute 1-2 teaspoons of the reagent in 1 liter of water. For larger containers, the same proportions apply. We fill the kettle with the resulting solution and turn it on. The composition must be boiled no more than 1-2 times. Aggressive descaling methods

In cases where the recipes described above do not help, you have to use more radical ways to solve the problem. Before you descale the kettle with vinegar, it is worth considering that if it has a plastic or glass body, the consequences can be very unpredictable.
