Qualitative synchronous translation does not complicate communication, it occurs in a natural pace. It is achieved great price and good preparation. Synchronous translation is a mental anomaly, since in the usual setting a person cannot listen and speak at the same time, especially in different languages.

Simultaneous translation will not be fully complete. With the average redundancy of Indo-European languages, 75%, satisfactory understanding begins at 50% of the translation. High-level professionals can translate up to 85%, but only with sufficient simplicity of the source text and the low speed of speech translated. When translating the film, you can get 95%, but it requires it again.

I recently watched one of the old movies, translated by 20-25%. This is not enough, but if you know well a language (level 3), you can add more percent for another 30 and get the required satisfactory level.

Recently, films are not synchronized, but unknown who with the text script. Usually the quality of such translations is very low. To translate the movie, i.e. Dialogue, you need to know a very good speech, - the first knowledge of such knowledge does not give. It is surprising that Moscow companies do not want to find decent translators for films. Apparently, their owners are not entirely competent, and as a result, there are lamps in central television, inappropriate even in high school.

Not everyone may become a synchronous translator. You need to possess a certain type of thinking. For the experiment you can try simultaneously talk and consider pronounced words, or only verbs.

If it turned out both - you can try to get this profession. This requires the highest language preparation and experience. This is an interesting, but hard work.

In addition, the demand for real synchronous translation is limited by large international organizations that serves a small group of high-level Moscow professionals.
