Well, my cherished dream, which I have been carrying for several months in my head, has finally come true.

I really love dumplings and not only with blueberries, but with any filling. I guess I could eat them all day. But, unfortunately, I don't really like spending time sculpting them, so I put everything off until tomorrow. And now, finally, it came tomorrow. I feel very happy, like a little girl, when she was presented with the doll she dreamed of.

By the way, if you have fresh blueberries, you can make dumplings with them. Everything is prepared in almost the same way.

  • Flour - 400 gr.

  • Milk - 150 ml. (can be replaced with kefir, or water)

Before you start cooking, you need to get the blueberries out of the freezer so that they melt a little. Make sure that it melts a little, otherwise, then it will be problematic to cook the dumplings because of the juice. But if you missed the time and the blueberries melted completely, then you can put them in a sieve to make the liquid glass. Add a little sugar to the blueberries.

In the meantime, the blueberries are thawing, you can make the dough. In general, there are a lot of dough recipes for dumplings and each housewife prepares it in her own way. I hope you enjoy my method and you will succeed.

So, in the dishes where we will knead the dough, pour the milk, add the eggs, salt and stir everything thoroughly until smooth. A little vegetable oil can be added at this stage. As for milk, I used sour milk, you can use fresh milk and even make dough for dumplings with blueberries on kefir.

Pour some flour into the resulting liquid and stir the dough first with a spoon, constantly adding a little flour.

When it is difficult to stir with a spoon, transfer the dough to the table and knead with your hands, adding a little flour each time. You need to knead until the dough stops sticking to your hands.

Transfer the finished dough into a bowl, cover with a clean towel and leave for 20 minutes. During this time, the dough will rest and become more elastic and easy to work with, it does not tear or stick to your hands.

Divide the dough into several parts and roll each part into a thin layer.

Using a glass, cut out circles from the dough. I used to roll the dough into a sausage, which I cut into many small pieces and then rolled out each one. Now I don’t do that, because it’s a very long time.

Put the blueberry filling on the circles and connect the edges of the dough tightly.

While making dumplings, you can put the water on gas. Throw the dumplings into boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. It is very easy to determine the readiness of the dumplings; they float to the surface of the pan.

    3. Sift flour into a bowl with a slide, make a depression in the middle of the slide and pour water, salt and starch into it. Mix flour with liquid.

    • water - 180 g
