Preparation of a solution of copper sulfate

To prepare a 1% solution in 10 liters of water, dissolve 100 g of copper sulfate. It is not worth doing a large concentration, since the solution has high acidity.

Preparation of Bordeaux liquid

Components for the preparation of Bordeaux liquid:

• copper sulfate - 100 g.
• quicklime - 100-150 g.
• water - 10 liters.

Lime must first be extinguished with a small amount of water and allowed to cool. In a separate container (not metal) with a capacity of 3 liters, vitriol and lime are diluted.

The volume of each component is adjusted to 5 liters. The milk of lime must be filtered through a sieve. Gradually, in a small stream, a solution of copper sulfate is poured into the lime solution. After thorough mixing we get 10 liters of turquoise Bordeaux mixture.

If the treatment is carried out once, before bud break, then it is allowed to increase the concentration of the solution to 3%. Take 300 g of copper sulfate and 400 g of lime.

Iron sulfate treatment

Now on sale there are many preparations recommended for the treatment of apple trees in the spring. However, not all of them help trees as effectively as iron sulfate. In addition, this drug is very affordable, has a low cost, and is very easy to use.
