Pskov Spiritual School - the educational spiritual institution of the Pskov and Velikoluksky diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Pskov county spiritual school for boys was founded on September 28, 1809. On the basis of the decree of the Holy Synod of March 6, 1809 and openly at the Pskov Spiritual Seminary. In 1867, in connection with the reform of spiritual and educational institutions, the School is separated from the seminary, having received its own management.

On July 24, 1870, the clergy of the district buys for the school an extensive home ownership of the Derugina landowner with a stone house, three wooden woven and garden on the left bank of the river. Great.

However, the closest premises and the lack of a hostel required additional construction, the funds for which were collected in the form of deductions: from the income of the Churches of the Pskov School of County for 10 years.
