How to use the drug "strobi", instructions for use

Gardening

Means "Strobi" is a unique fungicide in its class. It provides an effective fight against fungal diseases of various plant species, for which it received universal recognition.

The drug "Strobi": description

"Strobi" is a new generation drug, the use of which has a wide effect on the causative agents of fungal diseases of many plants. This fungicide actively affects fungi that infect leaves, stops the growth of mycelium and sporulation.

Important! Strobi successfully blocks outbreaks of the disease and prevents spores from germinating.

Thanks to this quality, the specified tool helps to cope with diseases arising from the germination of spores. "Strobi" refers to the type of strobilurins - substances that inhibit the respiration of the cells of the pathogen by acting on enzymes that are specific to the fungal flora.

Strobilurins cope with the fungus even in small quantities, so they are absolutely harmless to other living beings. This is both the main advantage and the main disadvantage of these substances. The fact is that mushrooms have a good susceptibility to mutations, thereby becoming immune to all drugs from this class. To achieve the best effect from the use of "Strobi", this fungicide must be used in the correct proportions, so the instructions for use should not ignore your attention.

Did you know? Scientists at the John Innes Center have discovered a protein that regulates the direction of root growth underground in total darkness. He was given the name RHD2. It is located at the end of the root and stimulates the production of free radicals, which regulate the absorption of calcium from the soil. The calcium obtained by the plant reactivates the work of the protein, closing the cycle.

The active substance and the mechanism of action of the drug

The main active ingredient of the "Strobi" drug, which mainly affects pathogens, is kresoxim-methyl. The fungicide is produced in the form of granules that dissolve well in water. Compared to other similar preparations, "Strobi" penetrates into the very structure of the leaf, distributing completely outside and inside it, and even if only one side of the leaf plate is treated (the plant absorbs only a small part of the active substance). The most pronounced reaction of apples and pears is a significant greening of foliage, and this mainly indicates the complete destruction of the scab. This effect is already evident after three spraying procedures with the fungicide.

Important! Scientific research has shown that no traces of this composition were found in cereals after treatment with the "Strobi" preparation. Its concentration in apples is negligible. Fungicide, getting into the soil, instantly decomposes and does not penetrate too deeply, so it does not pollute water bodies.

How to use the drug correctly, instructions for use?

"Strobi" is a broad-spectrum fungicide, the instructions for use of which are very easy to understand, and the reviews from gardeners and gardeners, in most cases, are quite flattering.

How do I apply "strobe" to colors?

When growing flowers, experienced gardeners spray them with fungicides to combat powdery mildew and leaf rust. In this case, the drug "Strobi" is used to prepare a solution, the instructions for use of which are as follows: dissolve 5 grams of fungicide in a bucket of water. The resulting solution remains most effective for two hours after preparation, so you need to use it rationally during this time. During the growing season, flowers are best treated with a sprayer, spraying at a frequency of three times a month.

Important! When growing roses, you need to spray not only the leaves, but also the soil near the bushes.

Garden roses need to be processed twice a month, starting from mid-summer (from about July 1) until the very moment the plants are sheltered for the winter. For the treatment of flowers against fungus, "Strobi" is used only as part of a complex treatment. Before and after using this drug, you need to use fungicides, the mechanism of action of which is different from strobilurins. The next year, "Strobi" and preparations similar in composition are strictly prohibited to use.

Strobi is perhaps the safest fungicide for garden plants, and for grapes in particular. It effectively suppresses the multiplication of fungal diseases that appear on the fruits and leaves of plants. Even after infection with a fungus, the Strobi fungicide effectively treats an infected object, and then eliminates the disease by suppressing sporulation and mycelium growth. Due to the fact that new spores no longer germinate, it is possible to prevent large-scale outbreaks of the disease. If the plant was infected for the first time, then Strobi also has a protective effect against future virus attacks.

This drug helps to cope with black spot, powdery mildew, root cancer of shoots, scab and rust. The preparation "Strobi" can also be used for grapes for preventive purposes, despite the fact that the instructions for use say that it can be sprayed only during the growing season. The treatment affects the leaves, fruits, trunk and soil in the root zone. The grapes should be sprayed twice every 10 days. The last processing is carried out one month before harvest.

Other fruit trees should be treated with Strobi fungicide during the growing season (up to three times throughout the season). Processing is carried out at two-week intervals. "Strobi" should be alternated with other fungicidal preparations: "Skor", "Cumulus DF", "Bordeaux mixture". The last processing of fruit trees is carried out no earlier than 35 days before harvest.

Did you know? The Paris Japonica plant has the longest genetic code known on the planet. The gene consists of 149,000,000,000 base pairs! This is 50 times the human genome! If you line up the entire DNA strand in a straight line, the strand will be 90 meters long!

Instructions for the use of "Strobi" for vegetable crops

Vegetable crops, by analogy with fruit trees, are processed during the growing season. The best conditions for the procedure are dry, calm weather.

When using Strobi as a fungicide for vegetable crops, remember that the instructions, in particular for tomatoes, peppers, carrots and other crops, are generally the same. This drug effectively copes with late blight and powdery mildew of tomatoes and carrots, peronosporosis of cucumbers and other diseases.

Fruiting vegetable plants are processed by spraying, but it is better to use "Strobi" in combination with "Quadris" or "Abiga-Peak". The processing cycle is as follows: first, spraying is carried out with the "Strobi" composition, then with another fungicide, and then again with "Strobi". The next year, instead of treated vegetable plants, it is recommended to plant others.

Vegetables should be sprayed twice during the growing season, and the waiting time, from the moment of the last treatment to harvest, depends on the specific crop:

  • for tomatoes and cucumbers growing in the open field - it is 10 days.
  • for tomatoes indoors - 5 days.
  • for cucumbers indoors - 2 days.

Important! Fungicide "Strobi" is very toxic, therefore, when working with it, you must follow the safety precautions described in the instructions.

Be sure to wear gloves, goggles and robes, which then need to be changed and washed well(it is pre-soaked in a soda-soap solution). If "Strobi" gets into the eyes or on the skin, rinse these areas thoroughly with water. If the fungicide gets inside the body, you should rinse the stomach, rinse your mouth and call a doctor. All further manipulations with the plant can be carried out only three days after treatment.

"Strobi": the benefits of using a fungicide

The advantages of using the Strobi fungicide are as follows:

Did you know? Seychelles fan palm-a unique specimen in the plant environment. She has the largest seeds in the world: one seed weighs almost 20 kg and matures for 10 years.
