What you need to know about Corsys.

  • Korsis pipe comes in two stiffness classes - SN8 and SN16. Pipes SN8 are made from polyethylene, SN16 - from polypropylene. Pipes are supplied in lengths of 6 m or 12 m;
  • Available in both nominal outer diameter OD (from 110 mm to 1200 mm) and nominal inner diameter ID (from 200 mm to 800 mm);
  • The outer layer of the pipe is black, the inner layer of the Korsis pipe is SN8 - white, SN16 - blue;
  • The shape of corrugated pipes up to 200 mm is round, 250 mm - 1200 mm shape in the form of a “Kremlin wall”.

Why Korsis corrugated pipes are the right choice

There is a very logical reason for this:

  • these products are manufactured in Russia from Russian raw materials, therefore Pipe shipment times are minimal- even during the highest construction season, you can always receive the goods within 1-2 days;
  • Poliplastik Group is the largest enterprise in Russia for the production of products for the construction of external engineering networks, therefore this manufacturer is responsible for the quality of manufactured goods;
  • The huge advantage is that Korsis pipes are produced at several factories at once, which allows you to significantly save on delivery - Klimovsky, Cheboksary, Irkutsk pipe plants, as well as in the Krasnodar Territory and in the city of Arystan in Kazakhstan.

In addition, the price of Korsis pipes is usually 10-15% lower than their European counterparts, for example, Austrian Pragma pipes, and since the Inzhplast company has been supplying these products for more than seven years, you can buy Korsis from us at a significant discount.

Korsis pipe connection

Installation of these pipes is possible at temperatures from -15°.

  • Pipes D 110 - 250 mm inclusively connected using a coupling and two sealing rings;
  • Pipes D 315-1200 mm connected into a socket with one o-ring.

The ring is put on the second groove from the edge for pipes up to 200 mm and on the first - for pipes from 250 mm and more.

The ring is put on so that the “tongue” of the ring “looks” at the “body” of the pipe. The inner surface of the socket or coupling must be clean.

Then the coupling or socket is lubricated from the inside with a soap solution.

Using any available lever device (crowbar, winch, excavator bucket), push the socket onto the sealing ring until it stops.

During pipe installation, we recommend using a lubricant; it facilitates the process of connecting KORSIS pipes and reduces the risk of the O-ring being displaced.

Rules and methods for laying Korsis pipes.

This pipe can be laid using the open method in a trench, as well as by pushing it into an existing pipeline of larger diameter. This pipe cannot be laid using horizontal directional drilling.

The minimum laying depth is 0.8 meters from the top of the pipe (in accordance with SNIP).

The maximum burial depth depends on many factors, such as:

  • the stiffness class of the pipe used is SN8 or SN16;
  • diameter;
  • soil type;
  • height of groundwater;
  • degree of backfill compaction;

When arranging a storm or sewer system, many buyers choose plastic structures that are characterized by increased resistance to thermal, mechanical and chemical influences, which is provided by the Korsis SN 8 pipe. The catalog of the Drainage Shop online store contains prices, descriptions and technical characteristics of products sold.

Double-layer profiled pipes intended for free-flow and cable networks (for the removal of gaseous and liquid media) are distinguished by a number of the following characteristics:

  • length 6 and 12 meters;
  • temperature range - 0-45 degrees, short-term heating up to 55 degrees is allowed;
  • color: interior in bluish or white, exterior - black;
  • depth for installation work is 1-10 meters;
  • nominal cross section - 11-120 centimeters.

How to choose the right material for non-pressure sewerage?

The positive characteristics of the pipeline include:

  1. Multilayer corrugated pipes outperform conventional plastic products with smooth walls and low weight - 2-3 times.
  2. Ease of installation - sealing rings and couplings are used to connect pipes, which facilitate the choice of butt welding technology. Seals are placed inside the corrugations to prevent the formation of shifts during installation. The profile design of the connecting elements contributes to the tightness of the pipeline system.
  3. Small turning radius, which is ensured by turning the line in the socket connection.
  4. Versatility of use due to the use of a large number of fittings, connecting components and manholes for different types of products.
  5. Multiple installations at minimal cost.
  6. The low weight of the structure (ten times lighter than concrete and cast iron) ensures ease of storage, installation and transportation.
  7. High level of tightness.
  8. The pipes do not become clogged from the inside, and also eliminate the presence of deposits during use.

Pipe "Korsis" sn 8: installation rules from the employees of the online store "Drainage Shop"

  • The use of butt welding technologies is allowed.
  • The joining of elements is carried out using sealing rings and couplings. The latter are placed in the groove of the first (for products with a cross-section from 25 to 120 centimeters) or subsequent (12.5-20 centimeters) corrugation.

The Korsis SN8 pipe and fittings are connected into a socket using embedded electric heating components, which are placed on one side and driven on the other (elements for welding). Thanks to the heating of the conductor installed in the socket, the electrofusion welding method is ensured. The length of electrofusion connections is determined by the level of resistance of the structure. Welding work is carried out in wide and narrow trenches.

The benefits include:

  1. resistance to rodents and microorganisms;
  2. safety and ease of joining by electrofusion welding;
  3. environmental cleanliness;
  4. resistance to chemical environments (due to the use of PP and PE);
  5. long service life;
  6. resistance to impact and abrasion;
  7. operation in seismically active zones;
  8. smooth internal surface ensures high throughput;
  9. the inside walls of the pipes are light, which ensures inter-operational inspections;
  10. elasticity, preventing the formation of cracks;
  11. resistance to temperature changes (from +80 to -40);
  12. ease of processing (speed of installation, ease of cleaning, low weight).

Quite new for the Russian market, Korsis pipes are nevertheless in great demand among customers. After all, in many respects they compare favorably with other products of a similar purpose.

Features of the production of Korsis sewer pipes

For the manufacture of these double-layer pipes it is used high density polyethylene. This polymer is different

  • high impact resistance
  • low temperature resistance
  • abrasion resistance.

Using the method co-extrusion allows you to get a corrugated outer layer and a smooth inner one. As a result, the pipe acquires additional strength, and its internal surface does not allow contamination to accumulate.

Advantages of Korsis corrugated pipes

Far-sighted buyers today prefer to buy Korsis pipes, which have a number of important advantages:

  • Ability to provide tight connections;
  • Resistance to main types of deposits;
  • Ability to withstand significant external loads;
  • Easy to transport and easy to install;
  • Affordable price.

Scope of application of Korsis sewer pipes

Sewage pipes of this brand are widely used in our country today. In particular, they are in demand:

  • When laying domestic sewage systems
  • When installing storm drains
  • For laying drainage and drainage systems at intersections with railways and highways
  • When laying cable systems.

We bring to your attention Korsis sewer pipes, which belong to the category - prices for these products are always maintained at the optimal level for buyers. And at the same time, we always guaranteehigh qualityof all products we sell.

Contacts Preliminary application

Corrugated two-layer pipes KORSIS are intended for equipment of main storm drainage systems of urban and industrial facilities. These sewer pipes comply with the requirements of “GOST R 54475-2011” and are characterized by high ring rigidity – “SN 8”, which allows them to withstand transport loads of 8 kN/m2. The smooth inner layer provides high throughput. Products with a welded socket are available - this greatly simplifies installation and saves money on additional connecting elements.

Double-layer corrugated pipes KORSIS are made of low-density polyethylene using the co-extrusion method (the pipe is corrugated on the outside and smooth on the inside). This profile design provides high resistance to deformation, and the smooth inner surface eliminates clogging and increases the service life of the pipes. The black outer walls protect the pipe from ultraviolet radiation, and the smooth white inner wall greatly facilitates visual inspection and diagnosis of the line. Two types of corrugated pipe KORSIS are produced, which differ in class (SN) of ring stiffness - 6 kN/m2 or 8 kN/m2.

KORSIS pipes are produced in standard lengths of 6 and 12 meters.

Corrugations are rings of rigidity, which can be of three types:

  1. SN6 - deep laying up to six meters (polyethylene pipes)
  2. SN8 - deep laying up to ten meters (polyethylene pipes)
  3. SN16 (CORSIS PRO) - deep laying up to fifteen meters (polypropylene pipes)

As a rule, the following requirements apply to sewer pipes for storm, pressure and free-flow sewerage:

  • good long-term hydraulic characteristics;
  • long-term tightness of connections;
  • good chemical and corrosion resistance;
  • abrasion resistance;
  • low susceptibility to all kinds of deposits;
  • Competitive price compared to other materials.
  • simple, quick installation;
  • long-term tightness of connections.

Installation features:

KORSIS corrugated pipe for sewerage is used mainly for underground installation with a minimum laying depth of one meter, and a maximum depth of up to fifteen meters.

It is important to remember that the rational choice of material when filling a trench is very important: its granulometric composition must be such that the filling material easily fills the depressions of the corrugation, i.e. so that the particle size does not exceed the profile width.

Connection options:

  • Using a welded socket, which is an extension at the end of the pipe. The inner diameter of the socket corresponds to the outer diameter of the pipe. A rubber sealing ring is installed between the pipe corrugations, tightly fixing the pipe inside the socket; this connection is completely sealed.
  • Using a coupling and O-rings. Depending on the diameter of the pipe, the sealing ring is installed in the first or second groove between the corrugations, thereby reliably fixing the coupling and forming a tight connection.
  • Using butt welding. This method is not common due to the complex specifics of welding and the operating features of corrugated sewer pipes. Since corrugated pipes are used for storm (gravity, free-flow) sewerage, the inner surface of the pipeline must be perfectly smooth, and when butt welding, a slight deformation from the joint is formed at the joints, which can impede the flow, causing siltation.

Polyethylene corrugated pipe KORSIS fully meets the following requirements:

  1. High chemical resistance, high impact strength at low temperatures, increased resistance to mechanical stress;
  2. High ring rigidity of the product;
  3. Easy to install: a coupling and a rubber gasket (O-ring) are used for connection, or the butt welding method is used. The rubber gasket is placed inside the corrugation, so it does not move during installation, and thanks to the special shape of its profile, high tightness of the water supply system is guaranteed.

At the same time, KORSIS pipes are very convenient to transport, since their low weight greatly facilitates the process of loading, unloading and installation.

Double-layer PE pipe D 315 mm SN8, L= 6,000 mm with socket.

Scope of application of polyethylene corrugated pipes SN8:

  • underground communications;
  • in domestic (including city) non-pressure sewerage;
  • in the drainage system (removal of precipitation from the site and foundation);
  • in gravity sewerage of wastewater (precipitation);
  • in industrial sewerage of large enterprises and factories;
  • for laying in a drainage ditch for access to the site.

Polyethylene corrugated double-layer sewer pipes with hardness SN8 are superior to pipes made from traditional materials in all respects. They can withstand significant loads and require minimal effort for installation. The socket connection ensures tightness.

Characteristics:

  • Hardness class= SN8
  • Outer diameter= 315 mm
  • Diameter int.= 275 mm
  • Length= 6000 mm
  • Weight= 32 kg.

Installation of PE double-layer corrugated pipes:

The pipes are mounted in a socket down the slope. Minimum slope value h, for external sewerage from a two-layer pipe with a diameter of 200 mm, there must be at least 40 mm per 6000 mm pipe in length.

The base of the trench is leveled with coarse sand and/or gravel, fraction up to 20 mm. Avoid the presence of sharp-angled inclusions.

Sprinkling is carried out in layers of 20-30 cm evenly on both sides. It is allowed to use reverse soil if it is suitable for compaction or a sand-gravel mixture with a fraction size of up to 20 mm.

The soil around the pipe is compacted in various ways. From the most primitive - with your feet, in layers of 20-30 cm, in several approaches. Or mechanized using a vibrating plate, but also layer by layer.

Careful compaction of the soil around the corrugated pipe is necessary to compensate for the permanent load from the soil above the pipe and temporary external loads.
