Operational information for applicants. Operational information for applicants What are ranked lists of applicants

Garden buildings

Ranking - distribution of the object in the order of their precedence.

The word "Ranking" comes from the word "Rank" that is, primacy, seniority, prevailing meaning.

To study objects in a specific row (number in the list, etc.). Usually the rating is used to determine the place. Also, from a mathematical point of view, using the rating (ranking), you can determine the score (sometimes display the average).

Ranking data, that is, assigning ranks to the subjects of the list, happens according to certain rules:

  • decide on the direction of ranking (from lowest to highest or from highest to lowest);
  • assign the maximum rank (choose either the best indicator or the worst):
  • be sure to check if a mistake has been made (to do this, add up the assigned ranks and compare them with the sum of the ordinal numbers)
  • if the sums match, then the ranking is correct.

The most basic example of ranking is building students in a school by height on the line, in a physical education lesson (students are ranked from the highest and, in continuation, in order of reduction), in social networks you can often find ranking by popularity (first they show "TOP", then depending on the decrease in popularity).

Of course, there are universities, admission to which flows without entrance tests. Then the ranking of applicants is carried out on the following points:

  • members of national teams;
  • winners of the All-Russian Olympiads;
  • prize-winners of the All-Russian Olympiads;
  • Olympiads winners (this includes regional, regional and intercity Olympiads).

Now let's talk about how the word "Ranking" can be applied to the lists of applicants (students) entering universities.

Let's imagine that there are 200 places in the psychology department. And 300 people submitted documents. This is where ranking begins. Initially all applicants check for benefits and allowances. This is also a sort of ranking. For example, there are universities that allocate 10% out of 100% for places designed specifically for beneficiaries (disabled people, orphans, etc.).

It is these applicants who become in the first numbers of the list for admission to the Faculty of Psychology. But the number of free places is also conditional. Therefore, ranking is also carried out here. In this case, the primacy is calculated according to the results of the exam (in some universities, a plus is a good or excellent passing of the TRP standards).

They are followed by applicants who arrived on a common basis (mostly paid places). A different ranking method is applied here. In this case, not only the USE results are in favor, but also all kinds of diplomas, certificates of merit, merit, etc.

Thus, the university is recruiting 200 applicants, starting with the beneficiaries and ending with the extreme ones on the reducing scale of points.

But there are also times when students give up their place for one reason or another. Then the ranking starts again. The set opens again. The list of two hundred is supplemented by those who were, for example, 201 - 210. Subsequently, until the end of the list of applicants to the university. Places for applicants may change more than once. Until the full complement of this department at the university.

For applicants, there is a ranked list for admission to the university. As a rule, it is located at the information counter (stand). Why is this done? They are made so that the applicant sees his place in the ranking. Basically, during the recruitment, this list is updated every day (or as the applicants move).

Completed list applicants can also be ranked. For example, alphabetically.

In the modern world, people cannot do without mathematics. It is an exact science that requires orderliness. This is one of the main advantages of ranking.

This is a kind of mathematical branch that requires attention, accuracy and does not accept any deviations. Otherwise, enough shocks can occur.

For example, if the calculation is not correct, then an applicant with a low score will be able to get into the faculty (budget), and an applicant with the highest indicator will be forced to enter the same faculty, but on a paid basis.

In other words, ranking allows:

  • mark better work;
  • well-deserved place in the rating grid;
  • clearly highlight the faces from larger to smaller and vice versa;
  • find the information you need (more popular, better quality, etc.).

4. Why up to 27? Since July 26 is the last day of submission of documents for full-time and part-time forms of study on a budgetary condition (if you are applying only based on the results of the exam)

As you can see, in the summary of submission of documents, all applicants are lined up by the date of submission of documents (and somewhere by their last name), so it is difficult to immediately assess their place.

That is why you bring the documents on the first day or on the last, nothing will change, because there will be no more filing dates in the ranked list!

We will give them surnames: Falomkina, Pokrovskaya and Malinskaya.

They all submitted documents in 1 day

Ranked list

Notes:

1. In the first column you can now see your real position in the rating.

2. To assess your chances of admission, first you need to know the number of budget places.

I recommend that you see how many places are allocated for the general competition. We will build on this figure. (But if the places that were intended for benefits / target groups, etc., received fewer people than were allocated, then they go to the general competition)

Enrollment in the university takes place in 2 stages:

1. Filling 80% of places

80% include those applicants who submitted the original and the enrollment consent statement first on the list.

Those. if we take our list, then let's count who entered this 80%.

To begin with, you need to understand from which number to count 80%. This percentage is determined from the number of places in the general competition.

Let's say that we have 10. Then 8 people will be enrolled in the first wave (80% of 10).

Let's go back to our girls.

Malinskaya decided to give the original of the certificate and the statement of consent to enrollment, since she passes anyway (she is the sixth out of eight vacant places).

Falomkina still doubts and brings nothing. She has another university in mind.

And Pokrovskaya decided to try her luck and give the original and a statement of consent to enrollment.

We remind you that the deadline for submitting the original passport and statement of consent to enrollment is as follows:

Thus, we mark the first 8 people on the list with the presence of the original certificate and a statement of consent to enrollment.

In our case, these are people numbered 2, 3, 6, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15.

But, if, for example, the person number 8 writes a statement of consent to enrollment, then number 15 will not get into the first wave.

Therefore, keep track of your place in the ranking every day, because universities update these lists every day.

Order of admission

In the enrollment order itself, only those who have provided a certificate and a statement of consent to enrollment will be registered.

Thus, in the first wave, the passing score for sociology of full-time budget education was 176.

Here we see that our Malinskaya passed easily. But Pokrovskaya, despite the fact that she has fewer points than Falomkina, entered.

Let us now trace the second stage.

Those who were enrolled in the first one are eliminated from the competition.

As a reminder, we have only 2 vacancies left.

Falomkina, knowing that in the first wave the passing score was less than hers, she also decided to give the original and the statement of consent to enrollment.

Dulepin also brought a statement of consent to enrollment. He originally wrote it for a different direction of training (and did not pass there), but used his right to rewrite it.

Order of enrollment for the second stage.

Thus, the passing score for the second stage turned out to be higher than for the first.

Outcomes

So let's summarize.

Let's check how the admission system is deposited in your head.

We submit documents for full-time and (or) full-time-part-time form in the period from June 20 to July 26. It makes no sense to run necessarily 20, because in the final ranking everyone will be ranked according to the USE scores.

For example, 100 people will be enrolled in the first stage, and you are the 79th, then you can safely carry the documents.

Or, as in our example, Malinskaya was 6th out of 8 possible places.

For enrollment, it is enough to bring a certificate and a statement of consent to enrollment.

Terms of submission of a certificate and statement of consent to enrollment:

You can increase your chances of admission by using the following techniques:

It often happens that a university organizes several training profiles (programs) in one direction. If they all fit your USE exams, then you have the right to apply for ALL of these profiles. In this case, you will only use up one attempt out of three.

For example, 44.03.05 Pedagogical education (with two training profiles)

Possible profiles:

Technology + economics

Primary education + foreign language

Primary education + computer science

Preschool education + foreign language

Preschool education + primary education

Social studies + economics

If you apply for all of these profiles, then it will not count as multiple attempts.

Plus, it is possible that for these profiles there is training in various forms (full-time, part-time, part-time, part-time with the use of distance learning forms). These are all different competition groups. If possible, serve again for everything.

If you still have questions, our team will help you figure it out. Ask your question in this group

HOW TO READ THE COMPETITION LISTS

Competition, competition group- the direction of training, for which a certain number of budget places are allocated (admission plan, admission control figures).

Competition lists, lists of applicants- these are lists of applicants for each competition - candidates for admission. The position of the candidate in the list is determined by the category of the applicant (applicants without entrance examinations, applicants under a quota with special rights, coming under a quota with targeted directions, coming under a general competition) and the sum of their points.

To start working with competitive lists, you need to know the admission plan and the organization of the competition for budgetary places in a specific direction of training - this information will be needed to understand where the border of the list of applicants accepted for budgetary places is, in other words, the border of the list of applicants-candidates for admission.

Competition lists are presented in two versions. The first is a complete competition list, including all applicants admitted to participate in the competition (with originals and copies of educational documents). The second is an abbreviated competition list, in which only applicants with originals and statements of consent to enrollment are presented.

Ranging lists, i.e. placement of applicants in the lists is carried out in descending order of points according to the following algorithm:
1) by the sum of points of entrance examinations and individual achievements,
2) in case of equality of the sum of points according to the point of the first subject,
3) in case of equality of the points of the first subject according to the point of the second subject,
4) in case of equality of points of the second subject according to the point of the third subject,
5) in case of equality of points according to clauses 1-4 above, the ones marked "preferential enrollment" are placed.

Passing score- this is the minimum amount of points scored on the basis of the USE results or on entrance examinations conducted by the university independently, which gives the right to enroll in the case of providing original educational documents and statements of consent to enrollment. The passing score is determined by the sum of the points of the last applicant whose number is less than or equal to the number of budget places ( "green Zone" list). In the course of exchanging copies of educational documents for originals, the passing score may change; usually in the direction of increase, tk. the originals are brought in by applicants with a higher total score, displacing applicants with lower scores from the "green zone".

Blue applicants considered as candidates for admission at the 2nd (next) stage are highlighted in the lists. Gray enrolled applicants are highlighted in color in the lists. Yellow applicants who have entered into an agreement are highlighted in color in the lists.

When working with competitive lists, the procedure is as follows:
1. Find yourself in the complete competition list (copies and originals).
2. If your number on the list is less than or equal to the admission plan, then you go to the number of budget places, and for enrollment you should submit the original educational document and a statement of consent for enrollment by 6 pm on August 1.
3. If you are not included in the number of budget places, but there are applicants in the competition list who have not submitted the originals of the educational document, and their number allows you to enter the "green zone" (in the number of budget places) if they do not provide the originals, you must submit an enrollment consent application and an original educational document and wait for the enrollment procedure. You have a chance to get into budget places.
4. If you are not included in the number of budget places, and your serial number does not give a chance to pass to budget places, submit your enrollment consent application and the original educational document and conclude a contract for paid education.
5. If you have submitted several applications for participation in competitions in different areas of training, look for yourself in the corresponding competition lists. And choose the one in which you have the best position - either you are in the "green zone", or high enough to the border of budget places. And file your original education certificate.
6. It should be remembered that at the first stage of enrollment, according to the Admission Rules (acceptance of originals of documents and statements of consent for enrollment before August 1), 80% of the total number of budget places remaining after the enrollment of applicants with special rights will be filled, and target groups on July 29. If you are in a competition that is relevant to you within 100% of the specified budget places, but go beyond 80%, then at the first stage of enrollment you will not get into the order, but you have the opportunity to participate in the competition for the remaining 20% of budget places in the second stage of enrollment (acceptance of enrollment consent applications and originals until 6 pm on August 6).
