Moscow City Day 2017: authorities will spend about 740 million rubles
According to RBC, the Moscow authorities plan to spend about 741.9 million rubles on City Day celebrations on September 9-10. The metropolitan authorities have played out 116 tenders for the anniversary celebrations, five more are being auctioned.
360.1 million rubles will be spent on festive decorations. The second largest expense item will be the organization of events - 229.9 million rubles. The Moscow City Day celebration program will begin on September 9, 2017 at 12:00 on Red Square. From 13:00 entertainment events will open at more than 700 venues, the main of which will be Tverskaya Street, Krasnaya, Manezhnaya, Tverskaya, Teatralnaya, Pushkinskaya and Bolotnaya squares, Arbat Street, Poklonnaya Gora, Gorky Park, Sokolniki, the Museum-Reserve Tsaritsyno, Kolomenskoye Estate Museum, VDNKh and Moscow pedestrian zones.
This weekend it will be possible to visit about 90 cultural institutions of the Russian capital for free. Moscow City Day 2017: authorities will spend about 740 million rubles
According to RBC, the Moscow authorities plan to spend about 741.9 million rubles on City Day celebrations on September 9-10. 360.1 million rubles will be spent on festive decorations. The second largest expense item will be the organization of events - 229.9 million rubles. Road closures and traffic restrictions

From seven in the morning to five in the evening, motorists will not be able to drive along two lanes near the U-turn from the even to the odd side of Tsvetnoy Boulevard. One lane will also be blocked near its intersection with Trubnaya Square.
