Control panel for water cannon house kit. Borehole pumps Gilex water jet house

Herbs in the garden

Creating a water supply system for a country house or personal plot often involves installing a well. And this, in turn, requires a pumping unit capable of supplying water from a significant depth to the surface. One of the best series of such equipment is the Gilex House system.

Equipment Features

By using pumps such as Vodomet Dom Gileks in your household, you get the following advantages:

  • ensuring a constant level of pressure in the network, regardless of water consumption;
  • the presence of a soft start, which allows you to reduce starting currents and reduce the load on the unit. Thanks to this, the possibility of an accident in the system is minimized, and the operating life of the pump is quite long (more than 10 years of continuous use);
  • increased reliability ensured by automatic reduction of pump motor speed with lower water consumption, as well as the use of only the highest quality materials in the production of the device;
  • high work efficiency. The efficiency of the equipment makes operating costs minimal;
  • affordable price for any pump of the Gilex house series;
  • a certain selection of different units, due to which you can easily select the unit to suit your conditions.

Features of pump selection

When choosing specific models of the Gilex House System series, you should be guided by the following criteria:

  • the depth of the well from which water is supplied. For most of these plumbing systems, the Gilex Vodomet 60 72 House unit is sufficient;
  • the likelihood of increasing aquifer depth in the future. After all, this can also happen, and by overpaying a very small amount for a pump model Gilex 60 92, you will receive a guarantee that you will not have to change the equipment in the next few years.

In general, purchasing pumps like Vodomet Dom Gileks is not the only option for supplying water from wells. For some of these water supply systems, it will be more profitable to buy Gilex 60 35, which is not as productive, but also cheaper. And, if the required pressure is even less, and the flow rate of pumped water is quite high, you will need Gilex 200 10f, with which you can not only pump clean water, but also remove wastewater.

Purchase of Gilex equipment

Anyone can find all this and much other equipment in the TeplovodServis catalog. As the official supplier of Gilex, we provide the highest quality service for this equipment, as well as very affordable prices.

- a check valve included in the system prevents water from flowing out of the pipes back into the well or borehole.

Thanks to the presence of a programmable control panel and carefully selected components that form a single whole, this system can be used both for water supply at home or cottage, and for small businesses - small industrial production, farms, greenhouses with drip irrigation, etc.

Before installing the system, for further uninterrupted operation, you should calculate water consumption and take into account the following factors:
- static and dynamic well level
- well flow rate
- possible maximum volume of water consumption per day and per unit of time.
- the depth of the well or well, as well as the elevation difference on the site.

Thanks to the electronic components of the control panel, the system will operate automatically, but we recommend periodically monitoring the data displayed on the electronic display and indicator lights for possible optimization of the operation of the submersible pump and the entire system as a whole.

That is why this article is devoted to a review of the most promising domestic and foreign pumping stations, with the help of which it is possible to build a productive and trouble-free autonomous water supply system.

And in our opinion, the “three” most successful devices are as follows.

From the name of this system it is clear that “Vodomet-Dom” is aimed specifically at the domestic sphere. Moreover, four models of the Vodomet-Dom system allow you to cover literally the entire niche: from small buildings (country houses) served by the 60/32 model to low-rise dwellings (cottages and townhouses) equipped with the 60/92 model.

And please note: the performance of the Vodomet-Dom system is stable in both cases. After all, both the younger and older models pump about 60 liters of water per minute (determined by the first two-digit figure in the model name).

Well, the difference between these models is the pressure, which is 32 and 92 meters (determined by the last two-digit figure in the model name). That is, we have a high-performance system with the ability to adjust the height of the water column.

Of course, such attractive characteristics did not arise out of nowhere. Vodomet-Dom has a very attractive design, since the pumping unit of this autonomous water supply system can be both submersible and surface (main).

And in the first case, “Vodomet-Dom” pumps water even from 100-mm wells, filled not even with liquid, but with a suspension containing 1-2 kilograms of sand per 1000 liters of water. In the second case, the pump is integrated into the main line itself, using a special fitting, which allows you to assemble a surface pumping station that operates even in severe frosts. However, such a pump can only pump relatively clean water, with a sand content of no more than 300 grams per 1000 liters.

Another advantage of the Vodomet-Dom system is a giant 50-liter hydraulic accumulator, which can satisfy the current needs of a fairly large family or several families living in an apartment cottage.

The standard delivery package for the Vodomet-Dom system includes the following components:

  • Hydraulic accumulator 50 liters.
  • Submersible pump "Vodomet" or main pump "Vodomet M".
  • Filter unit with wear-resistant housing.
  • A set of shut-off and control valves, which includes such components as a three-terminal fitting, a ball valve and a check valve.
  • A control unit with protection against voltage surges (the station operates only in the range from 160 to 250 Volts) and a control and measuring unit (pressure gauge).

The cost of the “Vodomet-Dom” kit ranges from 17 to 24 thousand rubles. Manufacturer: Gilex company (Russia).

The Vodomet Chastotnik station was created to please consumers with “above average” demands. After all, this unit works with twice the productivity of the model from the “Vodojet Dom” series.

Moreover, four models of the Vodomet Chastotnik series are aimed at both domestic and commercial needs. After all, the “youngest” model – 115/75-CH – pumps up to 115 liters of water per minute from a 30-meter well, supplying it with a pressure of 75 meters. And this is quite enough to supply water to multi-apartment low-rise buildings (townhouses).

The older model - 125/125-CH - draws water from the same deep well, but with a productivity of 125 liters per minute it provides a pressure of 125 meters. And such characteristics can be used even in public utilities or in handicraft production.

Moreover, all stations from the “Vodomet Chastotnik” series are equipped with special “Vodomet-Ch” submersible pumps, controlled automatically using a unit built in by the manufacturer. And such a unit ensures a smooth supply of liquid with the required pressure, regardless of water consumption. In addition, the Vodomet-Ch units have a built-in dry-running protection unit and a soft start unit, which increases the duration of the trouble-free period of operation.

The capacity of the hydraulic accumulator of the Vodomet Chastotnik pumping station is 50 or 100 liters. Moreover, a more capacious storage device is installed on older models equipped with pumps with a power of more than 1.5 kW. A 50-liter tank is installed on younger models, which are equipped with pumps with a power of about one kilowatt.

In addition to the tank and pump, the Vodomet Chastotnik station kit includes the following components:

  • A control unit with its own pressure relay (RDM-5), equipped with a voltage stabilizer that equalizes the current characteristics. Therefore, the station operates without failures even in conditions that are far from ideal - at voltages from 160 to 250 Volts.
  • A set of shut-off valves, which includes a ball valve and a check valve (it prevents water from draining into the well)
  • A set of control and control valves, which includes a three-terminal fitting (flow distributor mounted on the neck of the hydraulic accumulator) and a pressure gauge.

The cost of a station from the “Chastotnik Vodomet” series ranges from 27 to 40 thousand rubles. Manufacturer: Gilex company (Russia).

Grundfos is a very reputable Danish company that produces high-quality pumping equipment. Moreover, according to the company, it relates to every second unit sold on the global compressor equipment market.

Well, in the downhole equipment segment, Grundfos has strengthened its position thanks to the well-known SQE series of household stations. Moreover, SQE deep water pumps from Grundfos are famous for both their quality and performance. After all, even the “younger” models from this series are capable of “reaching” up to 9000 liters of liquid per hour from a considerable depth, lifting it with a 50-meter pressure.

However, the SQE series from Grundfos also has some disadvantages that do not allow these units to be put in first place in our rating. And such disadvantages include, firstly, the high price - the average cost of the SQE kit from Grundfos is 50,000 rubles, and, secondly, the small volume of the hydraulic accumulator, equal to 8-10 liters. In addition, repairing such an expensive station cannot be cheap. And given the remoteness of the “spare parts” manufacturer, it will not be accessible.

But Grundfos guarantees that the service life of stations from the SQE series will exceed 10 years. And the automatic control unit for the water supply system will provide not only protection against dry running, but also a smooth start-up of the “aggregate” part of the station.

The scope of supply for the Grundfos SQE series is standard. It includes a deep-well pump, a hydraulic accumulator, an automation unit, shut-off and control valves.

The cost of a station from the SQE Grundfos series ranges from 40 to 60 thousand rubles. Manufacturer: Grundfos (Denmark).

So.. a little practice from me, I made and remodeled the water supply system at home according to the recommendation from this forum with my own hands...

Alex_bud, as they say, we smoke the manual (no offense)... a check valve after the pump (and immediately behind it - below) is a prerequisite for any centrifugal pump, be it a water cannon or sq. This requirement grows not from the lust of the developers, but from the elementary laws of physics, incl. You will still have to decide the issue with draining... there are actually 2 of them, if constant pressure in the system is required (closed system), namely:
1. Take out a pump for the winter with manual draining of the entire system
2. As my colleagues have already suggested above - mechanical or electromechanical (implemented by me - a normally closed fill valve from a washing machine - issue price is 500 rubles - in the fall I plug the wire from it into the outlet - 5 minutes and the system is empty above the freezing point)

Regarding pumps... there is no need to go to extremes - SQ is good, but not for today's times (in terms of price). There is a lot of information about water cannons (mostly negative) - just type the word water cannon in the search - I personally have an Aquarius .. and this is the second one (I changed it due to an error when calculating the required pressure when purchasing) - my first one was working with a friend in the village in an open system , the second (given by friends on BD - already in my closed one.

Regarding electronics - there was a topic about the advantages of controllers and soft starts, but everyone remained with the same opinion - my next thing - if the manufacturer did not provide a soft start on the pump and gives a 10-year guarantee of failure-free operation - like Aquarius - then it is not needed, yes soft start reduces water hammer - but somehow before the advent of systems with soft start they lived - and still live - the main thing is to install a normally configured and correctly connected hydraulic system. Dry-running protection can be implemented either separately using a relay or using a controller - for both of them, after operation, human intervention is required to start the system - for a well this is a necessity (- I have a well and the role of the SCC is performed by a float switch - system fully automated.
If you still want automation, take a closer look at the Wistan systems - the thing is awesome - but there is no pressure adjustment in it - only those installed at the factory - if you are satisfied with the parameters - take it - without hesitation.

HA is the main part of the water supply system - it’s better to take a good one, for example Reflex - yes, it’s expensive - but the stingy pays twice! A mandatory requirement for water supply systems is the minimum pump activation - recommended for all well-known brands - no more than 10 times per hour - remember that the useful volume of the HA is approximately 0.3 of the nominal - with a correctly configured HA of 100 liters, you will get the maximum before turning on the pump 20-30 liters - this must be taken into account, as well as the upper point of turning off the pump - it must be calculated so that during intensive analysis - for example, washing in the shower or watering the garden (pouring into barrels) - the pump does not turn off - find the equilibrium point of the system and turn off just above this point.
It is imperative not to narrow the feed system, which is at least 1 inch (or 32 HDPE) to the HA.

So, dear friend, go for it - building a water supply system is actually not very difficult, the main thing is to initially understand and calculate everything you want from it... tell us - and we, in turn, will help you choose and set all the parameters correctly! incl. WELLCOM.

I also came here 2 or 3 years ago with questions - how to make it work
